🐱 There is just a week left to register and we still have openings! 🐱
Southkent Veterinary Hospital is hosting a Low-Cost Barn/Feral Cat Spay & Neuter Clinic on August 10, 2026! This is a great opportunity to help improve the health of community cats while preventing unwanted litters.
💙 Clinic Pricing:
• Spay: $85 (+ Rabies vaccine, ear tip optional)
• Neuter: $45 (+ Rabies vaccine, ear tip optional)
• Cryptorchid males: Additional $25
📞 Registration is required! Please call our office at (616) 891-9070 to reserve your spot before August 7th!
⏰ Drop-off: 7:00–8:30 AM
⏰ Pick-up: 5:00–6:00 PM
Every cat spayed or neutered makes a difference. Together, we can help reduce the number of homeless cats in our community and give them a healthier future. ❤️

Humane Society of South Central Michigan
Free Vaccine and Microchip Clinic for Cats and Dogs
The Humane Society of South Central Michigan is offering a free vaccine and microchip clinic for cats and dogs. Rabies and microchips will be available for both cats and dogs, as well as FVRCP for cats and DHLPP for dogs. The clinic also includes an initial exam and dental assessment.

About the Event
The Free Vaccine Clinic is open to the public. Appointments are not required.
Animals and owners will be served on a first-come, first-served basis.
Dogs must be on a leash and cats must be contained in a carrier for safety.
Current medical records are helpful if available.

Thank you much to those who have donated pet food to us, we now have a full pantry! We offer free dog and cat food to Barry County residents in need. The food is located in the Humane Society office at the Barry County Enrichment Center, 231 S. Broadway Street, Court Street Entrance, lower level. The office is open Mondays and Thursdays from 10am to 1pm.

🌟MICROCHIP CLINIC #1 is less than a week away - this upcoming Sunday!!!🌟

📍Where: The lot at the corner of Godfrey/Curve SW (across the street from 706 Curve SW)
⏰When: From 11am - 1pm

👇🏾👇🏾👇🏾A few things to know👇🏾👇🏾👇🏾

🐾We will be offering FREE microchips, Rabies vaccines, & Distemper (DHPP or FVRCP) vaccines! *As long as our vet believes the pet is healthy enough
🐾Dogs MUST be on safe/secure collar or harness & leash* (We prefer NO flexi-leashes, prong collars, shock collars, etc)
🐾Cats MUST be in a secure carrier*
(*We will have leashes, collars, & carriers if needed!)
🐾First come, first served - be patient & kind, we’re all volunteers here for your pets
🐾Your pets will be handled & chipped/vaccinated by volunteer vet techs/assistants & we will have a DVM on site in case of vaccine reactions
🐾If your pet has never had the DAPP or FVRCP (distemper) vaccine, they will need a booster in 3-4 weeks
🐾If you know your pet has reactions to vaccines, please give appropriate dose of benedryl ahead of time & let us know
🐾If we’re unable to handle your pet for behavioral or health reasons, we reserve the right to refuse & refer to a local clinic (we do have muzzles & treats to use as needed)
🐾While supplies last (we have enough for at least 100!) - microchips are donated by .nano & we are purchasing the vaccines/supplies!
