All horses and donkeys got 2-3 hose downs today and the baby donkeys got their first hose down ever. Everyone was very happy to be cooled down! A big thank you to ALL the Flying Free Stables staff this week on keeping these animals happy during this heat wave. 🥵 I couldn't do it without you!

Last weekend Callie Kramer and Big Thunder competed at Apple Knoll Farm Equestrian Center. This was their second rated show and they placed an amazing 3rd out of 14 people. They finished on their dressage score with no faults added in stadium or cross country. I am beyond proud of this team representing Flying Free Stables and showing everyone how amazing of a team they really are. There were some definite questions asked by this 3 phase and they awnsered all of them amazingly! Can't wait for the rest of the show season with this team and the others! Congrats guys!

Flying Free Stables is looking for a reliable member to add to our team due to one of our workers graduating nursing school and receiving a job opportunity in that field. We are looking for someone to be a long time member of our team, not just a summer job. 😊 Having transportation is a must. As of now we are looking for someone part time to take over one AM shift a week, which would be Wednesday mornings. More days could be made available if interested. This would include normal chores such as turning horse's out, feeding them, refilling feed containers, stalls, filling waters and sweeping the aisle. Everything at the barn is easily accessible while working and everyone at that barn is very helpful and friendly. Other work opportunities including, working with the horses may become available to the right person. I am willing to compensate with normal payment, lessons, leasing opportunities or reduced board(if stall is available). It was Mrs. Tulips 7th birthday yesterday. This little girl was very happy to be the center of attention and got all the love she wanted. This one started the beginning of the donkey era at Flying Free Stables and for myself personally. Not to mention became the wife to one special horse and the head of the household in her paddock. 😆 Love you Tulip! Here's to many more birthdays with you! 🌷🤍

Second post from these past two weeks! This past weekend Flying Free Stables attending the sanctioned horse trials at Hitching Post Farms in VT. It was a first for Thunder and Callie Kramer. It was both their first time at a rated event and Thunder's first time away overnight since I got him almost 4 years ago now. They both did fantastic and took everything in stride! It was not the best conditions since it had been raining non stop for the two days we were there, but they got through it. Not only did they get through it, but they placed first in their Starter Division!🥇 So proud of these two and so happy that our barn family could come together and support them throughout the weekend! Thank you Amy Glowka and Amelia Robertson for coming to support this team and thank you to everyone who reached out over the weekend to see how things were going! Of course thank you Terry Kramer for the amazing pictures as always. Also a big thank you to my barn staff for taking over this past weekend so I could offer this opportunity to a well deserving kid!

Flying Free Stables had a wonderful two weeks of showing! The first week of May we went to Horse Power Farms for their derby.

Amelia Robertson on Monkey D. Luffy placed 6th in the Pre-Elementry Division. Monkey is filling in for Merida while she gets some tlc.

Belle Secor on Big Thunder placed 3rd in the Beginner Novice Division.

Callie Kramer placed 2nd on Big Thunder in the Beginner Novice Division.

Grace Badgley placed 3rd on Monkey D. Luffy in the Sr. Beginner Novice Division.
