Meet Nibs!
Nibs is 2 ½ years old, and he was named after Nibs, a Lost Boy from Peter Pan. Our Nibs seems to be deaf and being a deaf, young puppy can be scary but Nibs is very brave about it. He is a big silly and comical boy! You will need to watch out for his big feet because he will step right on yours. Nibs will body lean for pets and his tail wags will show you how happy he is.

Nibs wants to be friends and loved by everyone! With cats, he can be curious but will run away scared. Dogs, he loves them all but can be a bit much for them being deaf. He doesn't hear their cues but has learned quickly how to read their body language. While he does well kids, toddlers can be unpredictable and with Nibs being deaf a small child can be knockdown out of fear when he is startled. Nibs does not jump or lick you but he loves belly rubs. He likes all toys and plays fetch. Nibs is super smart as well as a quick learner and has learned hand signs. He knows how to go (wherever someone points to: crate, room, outside, ETC), come (to the person signing), sit, lay down and he is doing well with No (when he needs to calm from play inside or when he wants to hump). He is overall the sweetest, most chill, energy filled to lazy snuggle boy. He learns so much through smell and sight because he cannot hear.

Meet Biscuit!
Biscuit is two years old and was found as a very ill stray kitten. It took some time for her to learn to trust humans but now she prefers nothing more than to be your shadow. She is a very independent kitty that, at the end of the day, loves her snuggles with her human. She is great at keeping herself entertained with her toys, and she is also litter box trained. She is looking for someone to love her endlessly as she will do the same.

Biscuit does great with dogs, cats and kids! She doesn't have much use for being outdoors any longer but does love to sunbathe in the beams from the windows.

MEET DREXIE!
Miss Drexie is a 4-year-old (DOB 06/08/20) beautiful female Pit Bull/Shar-Pei mix. She is just as sweet as she looks. She loves other dogs. Unknown with cats. Would do best with older children because she is still learning her manners.

It was determined that the bow in her front legs was (most likely) intentional as she did have bilateral broken bones that have healed. She had had a few litters in her short little life. Drexie was rescued from a hoarding case in Dayton where she only knew life on a logging chain. Better days since then and better life ahead of her. Our girl is now fully Vetted and looking for her furever home.

Please understand that when you adopt a dog, they need structure AND time. Read AND understand the "Rules of Three". Get a Martingale collar (best investment you can make!!)! Take them on walks in your backyard- ONLY, do NOT take them to trails, dog parks, etc. Taking them on walks in your backyard helps them to understand where they (now) live, and it helps to establish that YOU are the pack leader. It takes time, GIVE THEM THE TIME!!!! I hate reading where a newly adopted dog has "gotten loose" and is lost!!

Meet Arlo!
Arlo is about 2 ½ yrs. old (DOB 10/08/22). He is a medium sized fawn-colored Weimaraner mix. He loves to play with humans and dogs. It would be best that he goes to a home without a feline, or with a dog-savvy feline. Arlo is a typical Velcro dog. Though he is very active, he loves to snuggle on the couch and will do his best to take up of the bed. This young pup is also perfect with no accidents in the house, and he has learned to bark when he wants back in the house. His leash manners are a work in progress and slowly improving.

No guy is perfect, and neither is Arlo. He is lacking in some of his manners, but has greatly improved at jumping on people. He is also improving at only getting on the couch when permitted and jumping down when he is told. Though he will tolerate a crate, I would not recommend it for more than a couple of hours. He is likely to destroy anything in the crate. Like most Velcro dogs, he does not like being away from his people for extended periods. Though he has done extremely well with not chewing, we have had some casualties along the way. Arlo is very protective of his people. He is vocal when a stranger enters the house. He will need an alpha personality to keep him in check.

Are you the good match for this good boy? Since he is still a puppy, he really should have a family that is home more often and is active. Because of his propensity to jump, younger children are not recommended. A fenced-in yard is also highly recommended. Ideally, he would do great with someone who likes to do outdoor activities.

Meet P***y!
P***y is a beautiful, low maintenance girl. She brings the love to you! She is a 2-year-old domestic shorthair who likes to snuggle.

Meet Henrietta!
Miss Henry is 35lb., female, Hound mix. She is fully vetted., crate and house trained, and walks well on leash. She loves other dogs and would do best in a home that already has (at least) one dog, if not more. She is fine with cats. Children need to give her a little space because chaos frightens her.

Henry (Henrietta) was found running around in backyards and a huge pond area for weeks. Poor baby was scared of her own shadow and that hasn't improved much. She will need an adopter with a great deal of patience and understanding but the love is well worth the wait. She is scared of sudden movements, loud noises, and doesn’t like changes in her routine once you have one established.

Miss Henry will need a home with a fenced yard. Having said all that, Henrietta is a complete love, once she trusts you. She has the softest fur and is the most beautiful fawn color. This baby will be hard to part with and I will be extremely picky when it comes to choosing her furever home, she will come to you carrying a piece of my heart but she needs a family to call her very own, is that your family?
