The single most important training window in your puppy's life closes around 16 weeks.

Socialization means allowing your dog to experience the world — new people, places, sounds, surfaces, other animals — in a way that builds confidence, not overwhelm. Done right, it shapes the stable, confident adult dog they'll become for the rest of their life. Done wrong (or skipped), you're playing catch-up for years.

But socialization does NOT mean letting every dog and stranger rush up to greet your puppy. It means controlled, positive exposure at your puppy's own pace — quality over quantity, every time. A puppy who gets overwhelmed by too much too fast can come out the other side more fearful, not less.

VENDORS WANTED!

Fowler K9 Academy is seeking vendors for our 2026 Working Dogs of America Regional & Club Trial, October 3–4 in Middleton, Idaho.

Connect directly with working-dog owners, handlers, trainers, competitors, and spectators during this two-day obedience and protection event.

Vendor space includes:

• 10×10 outdoor booth
• $50 per day
• Event-material listing
• Social media feature during the event
• Access to 50+ targeted attendees

We’re especially interested in training equipment, leashes, collars, dog-sport apparel, custom merchandise, food, treats, chews, and canine nutrition products.

Spaces are limited and assigned first come, first served. Vendors provide their own table, canopy, and setup. Electricity is not included.

Meet Eleo….Eleo use to lose his mind when someone would pull a bag out of the drawer….but now, by being Proactive, Consistent, and Persistent……he is getting better & better!!!! Setting up these controlled scenarios help to build your dog up for success!!!! LOVE IT!!!
