A long post with video,hope you finish the post. This is important, due to recent events this year in town. We understand the public trying to help but there is a method to recovering lost or abandoned dogs. With the exception of one this year. We have reunited the others with their families. This volunteer group of people are a big help for the ACO'S in CT.

Thanks to everyone involved in making this a successful recovery. Special thanks to CT Dog Gone Recovery for the countless hours and also for the help.of the community in assisting in updating in sightings/locations and also adhering to our requests of not chasing the dog. So grateful for another successful story. Have a happy and safe 4th of July- count you blessings,your freedom, hug the ones you love and hug your pups! 🇺🇲🐶😎

SHELBY: Aprox. 2 yr old female pit bull.
Shelby is the sweetest little goofy pitty. Unfortunately someone could no longer care for her, we responded to the call that she was tied to a tree in the woods, scared and hungry. Thankfully she warmed up to us very quickly. She is full of kisses, zoomies, and she is an absolute cuddle nugget. She walks great on a leash, loves walks and water, but her favorite past time is a good tasty bone and the snuggly lap of her favorite person.
