Meet Baldi: The Sweet, Sensitive Soul Looking for His Perfect Match
For some cats, shelter life is a tough place to thrive, and Baldi is one of them. Imagine spending most of your life in just one room- it’s hard for any soul to flourish. Baldi needs someone who truly understands cats and can appreciate the beauty in their quirks, preferences, and need for patience.
This sweet boy loves human attention. He’ll light up when you’re with him, but he struggles when you leave. We’re helping him learn that goodbyes are okay, but what Baldi really needs is a loving person to show him the stability and reassurance he craves.
Baldi adores wand toys, and you’ll see his playful side shine when it’s time to pounce and leap! With the right person- someone who can notice what an incredible heart he has- Baldi can blossom into the wonderful companion he’s meant to be.

Hi there, I’m Titan.
Life hasn’t always been easy for me and honestly, I’m not looking for much—just a calm place to call home and someone to love me as much as I will love them. And trust me, when I love, I love with everything I’ve got. If I decide you’re my people, you’ll have my whole heart for life.
My favorite things: Belly rubs! Oh, I’ll flop right over for them when I love you. My ball—there’s nothing better than a good game of fetch to help me feel alive! Then I like to carry it around in my mouth, it’s comforting! And laps! Yep, I’m a lap dog! I’ll turn around and pop a squat right on your legs or feet and ask for pets.
But what I want more than anything is someone who gets me. Someone who sees that I’m full of love and ready to give it all to the right person.
I just need a calm household, a peaceful place where I can let my thoughts settle and know I’m safe. I’ll be your best friend, your constant companion, and the one who’s always there for you, no matter what.

Hi there, it’s me Cyndi Hauper, and it’s been an exciting week in my little bunny world! The big event? Our much-anticipated BunnieBox finally arrived, and I got to pick out my very own toy! I chose the hanging blocks toy, and it’s been keeping me busy between my other adventures.
Speaking of adventures, I now have free roam of my very own room, and I am loving it. All this space to hop and explore has me absolutely flourishing! At night, I have the most fun, and throw my own little bunny party! Then when the sun comes up, I’m ready for gentle head pets from my favorite humans.
Oh, and did I mention? With all this freedom, I’m still perfectly using my litterbox. What can I say—I’m a proper lady with impeccable manners!
If you’re looking for a sweet, fun-loving little girl to light up your life, I’d be thrilled to meet you. Let’s make some memories together! 💕

Has been around Town Line Rd in Addison for a couple of months. Spayed female, microchipped but we are struggling to contact the owner. Has a back leg deformation. Very friendly!

It's Alumni Sunday and today we're checking in with Mowgli. His Mom writes, "Mowgli joined our family back in October of 2023. With over a year with this just adorable, loveable, sweet boy he has just made himself at home! He absolutely loves snuggles and I mean the ones where he can climb his over 80 pound self onto my lap and just snuggle right in while giving me tons of kisses! He is just the most loving most gentle soul! He loves going for walks and wouldn't say no to taking some good naps where you can hear him snoring away! Mowgli has become such a huge wonderful part to our family and we have been so blessed to be able to spend our days with him! And of course, he takes any chance he can to take a car ride with mom!"

A happy Tiny Tuesday to my Facebook friends. It’s me, Bee Gee! I’m a hopeful bunny who’s been patiently waiting for someone to notice me. I’ve been at the shelter for far too long, and truthfully, it’s been... lonely. There’s only so much a bunny can do in a shelter, no matter how hard the humans try to make it nice. I spend my days imagining what life could be like in a real home—stretching out in a sunny spot, exploring new hidey-holes, and sharing soft moments with someone who truly loves me.
Rabbits are so much more than small pets. We’re companions, with quirky personalities and a knack for bringing unexpected joy. The way I’d twitch my nose at you or do a little happy hop when I’m excited—those are the moments that fill a home with magic.
I’ve been so bored here, and my heart aches for a real home where I can thrive, not just survive. Please come spend some time with me! 🥺 Let’s turn this Tiny Tuesday into the start of something big for me—my forever.

It's Alumni Sunday and today we have a wonderful update on Lady (formerly Sapphire) and Jasper (formerly Bramble). Their family writes, "We are just so happy they have been coming out of their shells; it’s been almost 3 months since we adopted them. Lady is still timid, but if you get on her level, she really eats up attention and being pet. Jasper is a little devil and keeps us laughing a lot. He also loves attention, but on his terms!" We're so happy for this shy duo and grateful to their family for showing them the patience they needed.

The Cat Cafe at the Bixby Library was a huge success today! Shelter cats Sid, Joi, and Pickles greeted a total of 90 attendees (our apologies to the 40 on the waitlist!). Many thanks to Cedar and Kelly at the Bixby and to shelter volunteers Sue, Vanda, and Kathryn for all of your help.
