Handsome Clover is looking for a home of his own. Sadly, Clover was left behind by his family when they moved away. He is a sweet and playful boy who enjoys bird watching and being brushed. He likes to walk around and find all the good napping spots during the day, then he heads back to his kitty condo for the night. Clover is on the independent side when it comes to other cats, but he would love a human of his own 🥰

He is about 4 years old and weighs ten pounds. His adoption fee is $75 which includes:
Neg FIV & FeLV Test, neuter, vaccinations, and treatment for fleas, ticks and internal parasites.

Meet our adorable Junebug! 😍

She is available as foster-to-adopt!

This girl is as smart as she is adorable! She is new to the shelter, but her favorite thing so far seems to be snuggling with volunteers. She is also a smarty-pants who already knows sit, down and stay. She does great in the car, enjoyed her bath, and gets along with other dogs.

Junebug is a Terrier mix who is 1 & 1/2 years old and weighs 27 lbs. All family members and resident dogs must be present for the meet and greet.

Her fee is $100.00 which includes spay, microchip, HW negative, monthly preventative for fleas/ticks/HW, and up to date vaccines.

Second annual Tats for Tails! 😻

We have the date and information for our next Tats for Tails event!
Saturday September 27th from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. we will have a bunch of new and awesome predawn, animal related designs!
This is a cash only event and tattoos are $150.
We will post the designs soon but save the date and come support the amazing Friends of Middleburg Heights Animal Shelter

We think we have some of the cutest kittens around! If you’re looking for one or two new family members (kittens always do better in pairs unless you have another kitty at home) please stop up to meet these babies. They all spent time in loving foster homes and are now ready for a home of their own.

We want to give a huge shout out to a wonderful group from Jägermeister who came up to volunteer at our shelter yesterday! 😍

They helped us do some cleaning and organizing, and they happened to be there when a litter of 3-week-old kittens were dropped off, and some of them learned how to take care of bottle babies! They also enjoyed some time with our dogs 🐶♥️🐱

Doesn’t Fajita have the cutest little face? This adorable 3-year old tabby was abandoned by his family several months ago was feeling a little lost. But he has made new friends at the shelter, and he’s now looking for a family that will cherish him the way he deserves. Fajita enjoys exploring new things and he does well with other calm cats. Fajita loves head scratches, Churu, and tunnels to play in! Come up to meet this chonky boy, you won’t regret it 😻

Joey is a handsome tuxedo boy who is 4 years old and weighs 13 lbs. He is on the shy side but he’s getting braver every day. He does well with volunteers who he’s known for a while. Joey loves his toys and chasing the laser and the way to his heart is Churu. He will need a patient family that can give him time and space to adjust to life in a home. This painting that a volunteer did of him will go home with his adopter 😻

Happy National Dog Day! ♥️🐶

National Dog Day was founded in 2004 and it honors all dogs no matter their breed and encourages adoption. It also recognizes dogs that work with law enforcement, assist the blind and disabled, and detect drugs and bombs.

Just look at that smile! 😄

Everyone says one thing about Dalton; he is just about perfect! He is super affectionate, smart and well-rounded. He loves meeting new people and when he settles down he just wants to hang out and play. He is super cuddly and seems to be addicted to belly rubs. Dalton is also a smarty-pants who already knows sit, down, paw and stay and he listens very well. With just a little encouragement he walks well on the leash and makes an excellent hiking buddy. Dalton is good with most other dogs and loves to play with toys. He rides well in the car and also seems to be housebroken! This all around good boy would make an amazing addition to a lucky family😍🥰

Dalton is a lab mix who is about 5 years old and weighs 44 lbs. All family members and resident dogs must be present for the meet and greet.
