Friendly Reminder ⚠️ Muzzled dogs aren’t bad dogs! Iggy was muzzled up for our hike today for practice wearing it, as well as safety while having some extra freedom being on a long line around new dogs. He has been around plenty of dogs on structured walks without issue, but this was a slightly new adventure for him so we wanted to make sure to set him up for success!

Some reasons to use a muzzle:
• vet visits
• grooming appointments
• reactivity
• aggression
• eating things they shouldn’t
• practicing/training in case you ever need to use one

And to the people who muzzle their dogs (for whatever the reason may be) thank you for being responsible pet owners! 👏🏼

Introducing Momma Shire and her Fellowship of Puppies!

Shire will be raising her nine puppies here in foster, until they're all ready to be swept off on adventures of their own. Her pups were born on 2/9/26, and one will be embarked to give us an idea of breed mix (assuming there weren't multiple sires 🙃). Pups will be raised with Puppy Culture to the best of my ability, to give them a good head start at life!

Shire herself appears to be full ACD, and is a super friendly girl. She's approximately 40lbs and is estimated to be around two years old. She'll also be looking for a home once she's finished raising her little Shirelings!

Check out their highlight reels for updates as the puppies grow and Shire settles in! You are welcome to submit an adoption application early through Australian Cattle Dog Rescue Association (ACDRA), but please note that it will be some time before I'll have an idea of temperaments and personalities. Puppies will be adopted individually to prevent littermate syndrome.
