‼️❄️Good afternoon. Due to the incredible amount of snow and expected road conditions, we have decided to close the clinic on Tuesday, 2/24/26. Unfortunately, the staff is unable to get to the clinic to reach out to our clients who have appointments scheduled. We apologize for the inconvenience. Take care and stay safe and warm. ❄️‼️

January 14th, 2026 marked one year of rescuing Libby from not the greatest situation. One year of getting to know her. One year of loving her. One year of medically caring for her until she was healthy and she knew she was safe. One year of letting her develop into an incredible dog and fulfill her potential. For one year she has waited for someone special and a home to call all her own. She is a great size at 55-60lbs with an awesome temperament. She craves all the attention and thrives off of it. She currently resides at The Bully Barn Board and Train with our good friend, client and dog trainer, Brittany. If you would like to meet her and see just how wonderful she is, please reach out! We promised her an amazing life and are determined to find it for her.

Happy New Year from all of us at Middleboro Animal Clinic! We hope this year coming is blessed for everyone. Doctor Johnson will be taking an extended weekend off. Our hours while he is out for medication and product pickup are: tomorrow 1/2 8:00am - 12:00pm, closed Saturday 1/3 and open Monday 1/5 8:00am - 12:00pm. Please be aware that new prescriptions will not be authorized and/or filled until the doctor returns.

Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and is getting excited for the Chrismas season!!! This week we are open Monday and Tuesday 8:00am - 2:00pm. Then Dr. Johnson will be out of the office Wedesday - Monday for his annual trip to play Santa. On the days he out, we will be open 8:00am - 12:00pm. Please call the clinic before heading down so we can be available for what you may need.

I’ve recently been involved with a farm in Conway, MA where there’s been 2 rabies positive sheep. Please beware of any wildlife found in with your livestock, and of any odd behavior in any animal, wildlife or domestic. Rabies can present like many other neurological diseases, so always wear personal protective equipment with any livestock that is acting sick, even if you don’t note any neurological symptoms. Rabies can present with different symptoms in individual animals, so always keep it in mind. Call your veterinarian if you are concerned about any symptoms. And please keep your pets and livestock up to date on rabies vaccines. Rabies is a fatal disease and we want to keep you and your animals safe!
