Fluffer sat beside his friend,
A beaver plush from end to end.
With buck‑tooth grin and stitched‑on tail,
Mr. Chomps looked bold — not frail.

Fluffer thought, I’ll smile too!
A toothy grin, a beaver view.
He puffed his cheeks, he raised his chin,
And stretched his whiskers paper‑thin.

His tiny fangs poked out just right,
But oh, the face — a silly sight.
One eye squished shut, his tongue askew,
He looked like he’d just licked shampoo.

Still, Fluffer beamed with all his might,
Beside his buddy, proud and bright.
And though his grin was wild and weird,
Mr. Chomps “cheered” with felt‑stitched beard.

Now every day at half past three,
They sit and smile — a sight to see.
A cat, a beaver, side by side,
With toothy grins and matching pride.
