A significant portion, approximately 98%, of our incoming calls pertain to either individuals seeking to surrender cats or those reporting orphaned kittens. It is the latter situation that I wish to re-emphasize. Our recommendation is to leave the kittens in place, as the mother cat is likely nearby. Our understanding, though we are not veterinary professionals, is that the mother cat will leave the kittens to hunt, thereby drawing potential predators away from the vulnerable kittens. This behavior typically commences during the second week of the kittens' lives. The optimal approach is to provide food and water, and to observe the kittens from a distance. Ensure the area is safe and undisturbed to avoid frightening the mother cat. We encourage you to contact your local Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program to schedule services, allowing for the mother cat to be spayed when kittens are 8 weeks and the kittens to be neutered at 12 weeks of age, respectively, or sooner as advised by a veterinarian.

I am going to be downsizing my client list and work days. Majority of you have been so supportive and understanding.. however,
I am struggling at this point, to even find the motivation to get out of bed to p*e every morning, let alone groom. I groomed when my best friend and my mother died two weeks apart, when my FIL passed away, and when my Dad died.. I have groomed through miscarriages, back surgeries, and a hysterectomy. I can handle pain, and loss, but let me make this crystal clear, my CHILD is dead.. and this is NOT the same. It’s been 23 days, 7 hours, and 13 minutes since my entire fu***ng world shattered. I cry randomly, I spend most of the day choking back vomit and/or struggling to breathe. I need a break.. I am emotionally wrecked, and it’s draining physically. Every inch of me is in pain. I have one weak spot, and it’s been completely obliterated.
I am usually booked out two weeks, and I had to reschedule two weeks of appointments on top of an already fully booked month. I am double booked at this point until mid October. that being said, I will do my best to keep up-coming appointments, but I cant promise anything right now. I will be in touch with those clients who I will be keeping, and reccomending others to groomers I trust in town. I cant keep up at this pace, at this point in time, and I have three other children who need their mother. They come first. I can barely put in the effort to eat everyday. Please try to understand my pain right now, and I will continue to hope none of you ever have to live it.

Quick update.

We are back. I do believe I reached out to everyone who needed to be rescheduled. If I missed you, please send me a text. We are currently booked into the middle of September.

That being said, please understand that we are still adjusting. Groom times are going to be haywire for a bit. We will always do our best to get your furkids out as quickly as possible but, please expect delays for a bit.

Hey Paw Pals,

We lost our son on Saturday the 9th. We know you that your furbs need grooming, however right now we need a little time to grieve. We are also amidst a move, so please give us a little time to get ourselves in order. Should you need grooming, between now and (hopefully) Monday 25th, we recommend you get in touch with Megan's Mobile Grooming LLC or The Snuggery.
