Who remembers Sampson from Moreno Valley, California ( )?

This handsome hunk is the dog who changed our founder forever.

Sampson's story didn't begin with soft beds, goat friends, and endless love. Like so many dogs we meet, his future was uncertain. But one simple word changed everything:

Yes.

Yes to pulling him.Yes to believing in him.Yes to giving him a chance.

Today, Sampson spends his days exactly as he should—lounging in the sunshine, hanging out with his best goat friend, and proudly serving as the official Kiowa's House Emotional Support Husky.

With his fluffy butt, goofy personality, and gentle soul, Sampson stole our hearts from the very beginning. Watching him transform from a shelter dog into a beloved family member is a reminder of why we do what we do.

Every rescue starts with a "yes."

And for Sampson, that one yes changed his life forever.

This June, we're celebrating the incredible power of one simple word: YES.

Every dog that has come through Kiowa's House has a story. Many arrived scared, abandoned, neglected, forgotten, or facing euthanasia. But their stories didn't end there.

Someone said YES.

Yes to fostering.Yes to adopting.Yes to donating.Yes to volunteering.Yes to giving them a second chance.

For the next 30 days, we'll be sharing a different Happy Tail each day—stories of hope, healing, and the families who opened their hearts and changed a life forever.

Because every wagging tail, every warm bed, every happily-ever-after started with someone saying YES.

Follow along throughout June as we celebrate 30 lives transformed and the people who made it possible.

Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. 🇺🇸

At Kiowa’s House Husky Rescue, we are forever grateful for those who served our country with courage and selflessness. Because of their sacrifice, we are able to continue our mission of saving lives, giving second chances, and building a better future for animals in need.

This Memorial Day, we also remember the loyal military working dogs who stood beside our heroes through unimaginable circumstances. Their bravery and devotion will never be forgotten.

From all of us at Kiowa’s House, thank you to the fallen heroes and the families who carry their legacy every day. ❤️🤍💙

Happy Dog Rescue Day from all of us at Kiowa’s House! 🐾

🐾 Puppy Update! 🐾

Two of the three little beagle puppies have officially found amazing homes! ❤️

That leaves sweet Jet still looking for his forever family. He’s an incredibly smart little guy, a total cuddle bug, and has been doing wonderfully with one of our board members.

✨ About Jet:
⭐️About 80% potty trained
⭐️Sleeps through the night
⭐️Loves cuddling up right beside you
⭐️Super affectionate and smart
⭐️Has already had his first round of shots

🆘‼️URGENT: We’re closed for intake, but we couldn’t say no!

Three beagle puppies were found abandoned—covered in fleas, mouths taped shut. They’re now safe with Kiowa’s House, treated for fleas, and finally resting.

But they need immediate vet care. Their tongues are very pale, and they require exams and vaccinations ASAP.
