Good morning, everyone!
I’m curious to hear your thoughts—what do you think is the biggest mistake rescues make? There’s so much controversy and negativity in the rescue world, but I’d love to know, in general, what you feel is the most common misstep rescues make?

💔 BECAUSE HE’S NOT A HUSKY… 💔

We are heartbroken here at Kiowas House.

We believe with all our hearts that every dog — no matter the breed — deserves love, food, clean water, and a safe place to sleep.

A few says ago we shared a pit bull in desperate need. He sits every day and night in a metal kennel outside, in 110-degree heat — no food, no water, no relief. His paws are blistered and burned from the scorching metal floor. He cannot even lie down without pain searing into his flesh.

We asked for help to transport him to safety, to get him to a sanctuary where there is food, water, shelter, and love. A place where he could finally know kindness.

But not one dollar came in.
Why? Because he isn’t a husky. 💔

This is not right. His life matters too.

✨ Kiowas House is committed to saving ALL dogs in need, not just huskies. This boy deserves the same compassion we show our sled dogs. He deserves a chance at life.

Today, we are begging you:
• 🐾 Help us transport him to safety
• 🩺 Cover his shots and neuter
• 🏡 Give him the chance to heal until a forever family comes

A few months ago, Kiowas House Husky Rescue quietly took in 10 dogs from a Miami-Dade hoarding case. After months of care, they’re finally ready for spay/neuter so they can find forever homes! 💙

🚨 Husky Warriors, we need your help! 🚨

I know we’re a Husky Rescue, and this sweet boy isn’t a husky… but his life still matters. ❤️

A Good Samaritan reached out to me about a dog who spends every single day locked in a kennel — no shade, minimal water, and no food. This is neglect, plain and simple, and we cannot turn our backs on him.

We want to help, but we need your support. We don’t know his age, if he’s neutered, or if he’s vaccinated. That means we have to be ready to cover full vetting costs and transportation from Kendall, Florida.

💌 We are asking for pledges to get him safe, vetted, and into a loving environment. Every single dollar helps get him one step closer to freedom.

What does RESCUE mean to you?

To us, it means pulling a terrified soul off a cold shelter floor and whispering, “You’re safe now.”
It means sleepless nights, emergency vet runs, and falling in love over and over again—only to say goodbye when they find their forever.
It means putting their needs before our own, because they’ve already been failed too many times.

But we want to know:
