Miami Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Miami, Florida. We are dedicated to rescuing abused, abandoned, and neglected animals, providing medical care, foster homes, and the chance to be adopted into loving families. Our rescue is fully community supported, and every donation, foster, and share helps us save more lives. If you’d like to get involved, we welcome you to foster, adopt, volunteer, or support our work however you can.

We have SO many rat terrier mixes looking for homes that they’ve started a union. Their only demand? A forever family.

Please keep in mind we’re a foster-based rescue, so our dogs live in foster homes, not a shelter. Meet and greets are scheduled after you apply.

All of these puppies are medium-sized breeds.

PLEASE ONLY TEXT IF you are interested in fostering and have already completed our foster application and contract.

When texting us, please include:

* Your full name
* The email address used for your foster application
* The day you are available for pickup

Our little (but not so little) puppies are enjoying their Saturday afternoon at the Felix Varela Senior High School Vet Program, soaking up some sunshine, playing with high school students, and getting lots of socialization! ☀️

We like to call them our BIG puppies. They’re in that adorable 4–6 month stage where they’re still babies, just in bigger bodies!

All these sweet faces are looking for forever homes or foster families. Who’s ready to give one of our big babies a chance? 🩷

Some love stories begin with a simple yes 💛

These photographs capture just a few seconds in time, but what they represent will last a lifetime. The moment a rescue became someone’s whole world.

We have been fortunate enough to witness hundreds of these moments, and somehow, they never get any less special.

To every family who has ever said yes to a rescue animal, thank you for letting us be a small part of your forever.

Nimbus has two things guaranteed every morning: her Vetoryl pill for Cushing’s disease… and absolutely no idea that it’s hidden in her breakfast. 😭

Meanwhile she’s dancing around waiting for her The Farmer's Dog meal like this is the best morning of her life. Huge thank you to her amazing foster mom for keeping our girl healthy, spoiled and blissfully uninformed.

Nimbus is also such a good reminder that a medical diagnosis does not take away a dog’s joy, personality, or ability to live a beautiful life. Rescue dogs with conditions are still just dogs who want to be loved, spoiled, and chosen.

Did we mention that we do puppy events? Because apparently our volunteers wanted to make sure nobody forgets. 😭

Our Puppy Lounges bring adoptable rescue pups straight to corporate events, conferences, celebrations and activations for a very necessary dose of puppy therapy.

And not to toot our own horn, but somehow we end up being everyone’s favorite booth everywhere we go. We’ll let the puppies take the credit.
