Little Sandy is officially available for adoption and honestly… this girl is SUCH a sweetheart 🫶

Sandy is a 2 month old mixed breed girl with strong lab-like traits and is expected to grow to be medium sized.

She recently came into our rescue alongside her siblings and has been doing amazing in foster care. Sandy absolutely LOVES playing with her foster brothers (who are dogs) and is also doing great with her foster cat sister.

She’s social, playful, cuddly, and really loves being around people. One of those puppies that just wants to be included in whatever is going on around her.

She’s also already mastering potty training and learning super quickly.

And honestly… between the ears, the little face, and the personality, we have a feeling someone is going to fall in love with her very fast 👀

We recently added a lot of new pages, resources, and features to our website, and we really encourage everyone to take a look through it.

Whether you’re looking to adopt, foster, surrender an animal, contact us, inquire about events, or simply learn more about how our rescue works, we’ve been working hard to make the website more informative, organized, and helpful for the community.

One thing we’re especially proud of is our updated surrender page, which now includes a large resource guide with over 50 different resources, including low-cost vetting, private rehoming options, lost and found pet help, other rescues, and more.

A lot of the questions we receive daily are already answered there, and using the website genuinely helps our volunteer team respond faster and spend more time focusing on helping animals in need.

This is the reason why we do this ❤️‍🩹

Lorelai’s story started when she arrived to our rescue alongside her siblings at not even a month old. They came to us in a filthy cardboard box, completely covered in fleas. And we don’t mean “a few fleas.” We mean fleas were literally crawling onto us while we held them. They were so small and weak, and had not had the start to life that any dog deserves.

And that’s one of the hardest parts about rescue. You meet these animals at their absolute lowest. You see them scared, neglected, sick, surviving… and all you can really do is hope that one day life becomes gentle for them.

Which is why seeing Lorelai now feels so special to us.

She grew into such an amazing dog. A smart, spicy little girl with the sweetest cuddly side. She’s obsessed with her big sister Charley, and seeing her so loved and so deeply part of a family genuinely heals something in us every single time we get an update.

This is why we will always encourage people to consider adoption. There is something so powerful about giving second chances. So many animals are just waiting for someone to believe they are worth saving, worth loving, worth choosing.

A little puppy that once arrived in a filthy flea-covered cardboard box now sleeps safely in a home where she is completely adored.

Pinocchio is still available for adoption and we really wish you guys could see him the way we do 😭

He’s a 3 month old mixed breed boy expected to grow to be medium sized, and he is just FULL of love. The type of puppy that follows you around, climbs into your lap whenever he gets the chance, and somehow always wants to be part of whatever you’re doing.

He’s playful, cuddly, goofy, and has such a happy little personality. Like genuinely one of those puppies that makes people smile instantly.

And honestly, we know there are SO many puppies online every day. It’s easy for little faces to blur together when scrolling. But Pinocchio really is special.

He’s doing great with his p*e pad training, good with other dogs, and absolutely loves people. A total cuddle bug.

We just really want this sweet boy to find a family that adores him as much as we do.

Hubert is still waiting… and honestly we don’t understand how 😭

This handsome little black cat is a little over a year old and genuinely SUCH a good boy. Like the type of cat that just peacefully exists near you all day. You sit down? Hubert sits down. You go to bed? Hubert is already preparing for cuddle position.

He loves being pet, loves attention, purrs instantly, and just has one of those really calm, lovable personalities that makes a house feel cozy.

And yes… we know black cats get overlooked all the time. Especially once they’re not tiny kittens anymore. But if people actually met Hubert in person, we swear he would not still be in rescue.

He’s just one of those cats that feels easy to love.

We have received zero adoption applications for this sweet boy… 💔

This is Yuki, an estimated 1 year old Chihuahua mix around 10 pounds, we rescued from an U-Haul, and he is SUCH a loving little dog. He loves being around people, loves other dogs, loves attention, and is just happy being included in whatever you’re doing.

He’s the type of dog that follows you around quietly, curls up next to you, and genuinely just wants love.

During a very thorough physical exam, the vet detected a grade 4-6 left basilar continuous heart murmur. This was something we only found because of how thorough the exam was, because Yuki was not showing symptoms that would’ve made anyone think something was wrong.

As of right now, he is doing very well. He is happy, affectionate, playful, eating normally, and currently does not require cardiac medication according to the veterinarian who evaluated him. This is simply something his future home should be aware of and continue monitoring over time.

And honestly… for Yuki, he doesn’t understand any of that.

He doesn’t understand why nobody has applied for him. He doesn’t see himself as a “sick dog.” He still wants to play, cuddle, follow you around, be around other dogs, ask for snacks, and love someone with his whole little heart.

He just wants a home and we really hope someone out there sees him the way we do.

Imagine living with your family your entire life… and then one day they pass away, and now that you’re a senior cat, you’re suddenly thrown onto the streets confused and alone 💔

That’s exactly what happened to Shrimp.

He thought he already had his forever home. Instead, he ended up abandoned outside after losing the only family he knew. And despite all of that, Shrimp is still one of the sweetest cats ever.

He’s currently in foster care and is amazing with adults, kids, and even other animals. He’s calm, gentle, loving, and honestly just wants a quiet place where he can finally feel safe again.

But instead, he’s still sitting in rescue… being moved between temporary homes while waiting for someone to choose him.

And senior cats like Shrimp are almost always the ones overlooked the most.

He doesn’t need much. He just wants love, comfort, and someone to make him feel like he belongs again.

Please open your hearts to Shrimp.

He’s the type of puppy that would follow you into the bathroom just because he wants to make sure you didn’t disappear.

This 3 month old mixed boy is SUCH a cuddle bug. Loves people, loves attention, and wants to be involved in absolutely everything you’re doing.

Breed wise? Your guess is as good as ours 😭 He is what we professionally call a mix of a mix of a mix. A true rescue mutt masterpiece. Based on his current size, we expect him to grow to be medium sized.

He’s doing great with his p*e pad training, good with other dogs, and honestly just has one of those really happy, lovable personalities that makes everyone obsessed with him.
