๐I need help getting dogs adopted. ๐
My husband has decided to end our marriage, and though I'm not shocked, the news still crushes me. I've had an awful year of nonstop loss and 2 years of struggle and I really need a mental health break. The stress of this news was more than I could handle at this moment, so I need to focus more on myself. I also need more time to work so I can make money to pay for a divorce lawyer, not to mention catching up on October mortgage and bills. And let's not forget that these animals deserve REAL homes for Christmas. Many have been here over a year. Banjo for 3 years.
Ways to help:
1- I am in desperate need of a photographer to come take pictures of the newer dogs and cat. Better photos make adoptions easier! A volunteer is preferred as we are a struggling non-profit, but if I have to pay someone to do this that isnt willing to help us out, then so be it.
2- I need EVERYONE to share their posts when you see them. Social media accounts for 95% of our adoptions. All it takes is getting them in front of the right person. We now have over 10,000 followers, but on average the animals only get about 30 shares. That's it. :(
Please don't suggest other rescues. I had a whole team of volunteers trying to get some of our long-term dogs placed this summer, and they reached out to HUNDREDS of rescues in the north. Most didn't even bother to respond. Everyone is full. That isn't an option. We need to get them adopted and into the homes they deserve.
We also have 4 dogs and cats that need to get spayed, and one to get neutered, and we don't have nearly enough funds to get this done. Donations will also help tremendously as I get these dogs fully ready for adoption. Every penny helps.
Jax is one of many waiting for a home. Scroll down to see the post about him from 2 days ago.
Thank you for helping our dogs and cats get the homes they deserve.
