Today, our team had the privilege of volunteering at 🐾
Did you know that Miami-Dade Animal Services takes in 30,000–36,000 pets every year? That includes dogs who are lost, abandoned, injured, or made strays. Many of these pups are in urgent need of loving homes as the shelters are getting filled, so let’s choose adoption over shopping whenever we can!
We also learned about the rise of “wild dogs” in the Redland area - abandoned dogs reproducing without early socialization. Without those critical first few months of loving interactions, these pups may grow up fearful and less adoptable.
Spending the day with our team, local animal lovers, and shelter staff reminded us why community support matters so deeply. 💛
