Behind every treatment is a team making sure our patients feel safe, loved, and comforted every step of the way 🤍
One technician giving the medications they need, another offering gentle pets, comfort, and reassurance — because healing is more than medicine alone.

Moments like these are what 24-hour patient care is all about. 🐾✨

The hours after a procedure are often the most vulnerable. Changes in breathing, heart rate, pain levels, or blood pressure can happen quickly, especially overnight.

That’s why continuous monitoring matters.

At MVS, our patients are never left without medical supervision during the critical hours after surgery. Because when complications happen, immediate intervention can make all the difference.

Recovery doesn’t stop when the day ends — and neither do we.

Poochie is a four-year-old Goldendoodle who first went to another clinic for limping. After a few days, she was transferred to us, after puncture wounds were found and a severe infection that had already taken over her leg. We may never know exactly what caused it—but by the time she arrived, she was fighting for her life.

For days, we did everything we could to save her. There were moments we thought we might lose her… moments where giving up felt closer than healing.

But Poochie kept fighting.

And so did we.

In the end, the infection had done too much damage, and amputation became her only chance. It wasn’t easy—but it saved her life.

Today, Poochie is strong, healing, and finally going home to the family who never stopped loving her. She still has a journey ahead, but she’s exactly where she belongs. ❤️🐾

Preventive care in action for Mika 🐾✨
Mika previously had a spay (ovariohysterectomy) along with a gastropexy—a procedure that helps prevent bloat (also known as GDV, when the stomach fills with gas and twists on itself).
Bloat is a life-threatening emergency that can happen suddenly, especially in large, deep-chested dogs. When the stomach twists, it cuts off blood flow and traps gas inside, which can quickly lead to shock if not treated immediately. Signs can include a swollen belly, restlessness, drooling, and trying to vomit without success.
A gastropexy helps prevent this by securing the stomach to the body wall so it can’t twist 💪
Mika did great, and this preventive procedure helps set her up for a safer, healthier future 💕

heat isn’t just uncomfortable, it can be dangerous for paws. 🐾

When it’s 85°F outside, pavement temperatures can soar to over 130°F!

If you can’t hold your 🖐️ or 🦶 on the ground for 10 seconds, it’s too hot for your pet too.

Protect your furry friend:

🐕🚶‍♀️Walk early or late

🌿 Stick to grass or shaded paths

✅ Always check the surface first
