Sweet Poppy was suffering in a parking lot. We have no idea how long she has been blind and just shocked at her resilience; surviving this long in this condition. We are trying to make her as comfortable as possible. If we can’t find her a home, she will have to be euthanized as it would be cruel to release her this way. She has several health issues that need care and she can’t be a street cat: she has feline leukemia, anemic, stomatitis, and blind. She is spayed and about 8 years old. She is incredibly friendly which is making this a lot harder. We are also trying to find a sanctuary. Her vet bill is at $1400. We appreciate any donation. Links in bio. Please donate and/or share. Poppy was living in a parking lot and suffering. She has been diagnosed with stomatitis, feline leukemia, she is blind and anemic. Poppy is so sweet. We want to try to find a home for her to live out her remaining days. We can’t release her to the parking lot again. That would be cruel. Snowball has been rescued by IPAW. She was first adopted from MDAS 7 years ago and was now found as a stray emaciated and in horrible condition. A little while after being taken into MDAS, she was adopted and then again found as a stray 😡 We aren’t sure if there will ever be any repercussions for adopters who do this. It is beyond sad and frustrating. Luckily, there are good people who want to foster and Snowball is safe in a foster home. She needs her leg looked at by a doctor before she is available for adoption. She is doing better than she was in the shelter, but it still seems to be bothering her somewhat. Any donations are welcomed so that we can get this girl the help she needs. She is mellow but likes to play. She has done well with children, cats and dogs! A true companion and very SWEET gal. 📢📢📢The boys are set to leave to Maine on 2/21! We can’t wait to finally see them HOME!! But we need help raising funds for transport. It is quite the journey 📍📍 The total is $3000. 🖤🤍 Taki 🖤🤍 is responding well to his URI treatment. His bloodwork was fine as well. He did need treatment for parasites. We are hoping he will be ready for transport on 2/15 to his new home! It has been over a year since we rescued Zorro and Grover! Dr Wise worked miracles and Zorro now walks as if nothing ever happened after having 3 broken legs!! Grover has spent a year in boarding just happy to be able to see and play with his friend when he can 🥹 He is a trooper!! Thanks to for ensuring they stayed together and safe. Every option for a home fell through. Other options were promised, but never came to fruition. We were desperate!!! We had emailed many news stations asking for help. No replies. That is until a friend told us to reach out to and she agreed this story must be told! Another angel on our path 🪽Thanks to her, our story went viral!! Picked up by many: just to name a few! We couldn’t believe it. Our boys deserved it, but we were still in shock at the amount of messages that came pouring in!! 🩵🩵 We are happy to announce that the boys have found a home in Maine!! They will be transported in Feb or early March, so please stay tuned!! 🚨🚨 However, we need to raise for funds for that. Please share and/or donate 🙏 They have come this far and we want to ensure we have the best and safest transport for our sweet and goofy boys!! On a happier note, our Howl, who was pulled from , got adopted! 🥳🥳🥳 Her new name will be Coley (short for Colocasia). She has been blessed with an amazing forever home and family with former IPAW adopters. We couldn’t be happier for her!!! We needed this good news. Let’s show Coley some extra love!!! 🩷🩶🩷🩶 Thank you to all who helped us help Howl and get her to this amazing home! 🙏

💔💔Next month it will be a year these boys were saved from I95 and MDAS 💔💔💔 This picture is from the day they were reunited. Zorro couldn’t walk but he crawled to Grover 😢

From Jan 2024 to June 2024 they had a home lined up. As we were planning transport, the adopter got a job in Manhattan and backed out. We were devastated. In Aug, two rescues said they would take them in. One in Maine. One in FL. They have both backed out. We can’t bear to have them in a vet clinic any longer. Although, the vet office has been amazing, it is no place for dogs to be for a WHOLE YEAR. We have the opportunity to send them to a boarding facility in VA where they will have land and a place to decompress. But we need FUNDS. AT LEAST $5000 for initial boarding and transport cost!! OR We separate them to give at least one a chance of a good home 💔❤️‍🩹 We don’t want to do this but THE TIME HAS COME! We have to do something different for these boys. What we are doing isn’t working. They have been forgotten and we feel we have failed them as well. We spent $15K on their vetting. Zorro needed over 6 surgeries. He wanted to live. Grover wouldn’t leave him. So we did all we could to HELP THEM. However, the time has come 🚨🚨🚨🆘🆘🆘 We need donations to keep them together and give them a calmer environment. They deserve this!!!
