Ruby, a yorkie mix, was rescued from MDAS over two weeks ago. She has been vetted and spayed. She has an old injury that healed incorrectly, so one of her hind legs doesn’t bend. She doesn’t let that stop her! She loves to walk, run, and play! She is very sweet. Potty trained. Doesn’t shed. About 3 years old and 12 lbs. Adoption fee applies. Mochi, now Vegas, got his surgery on Wednesday. He also got neutered. He is stable and doing well. He had MULTIPLE pelvic fractures, basically shattered. He is such a SWEET dog. We wanted to provide an update and thank everyone who donated and/ or shared!!💚 We can’t do this alone. We are still raising funds for him and for Ruby, who we took out of MDAS the same day. Two unrelated cases. Both run over and left to fend for themselves 😢😢😢 Donation links are in IPAW bio. Mochi’s pelvis is shattered AND he needs to be neutered. His estimate is at $6000+. We have a wonderful donor willing to match $3000 of our donations. Mochi was brought into the shelter by MDAS officers with multiple fractures. He sat in the shelter in pain with no help in sight. We couldn’t let him suffer any longer. He is now safe at the vet waiting for his kennel cough to pass so he can have surgery. His new name is Vegas 🥹 Lilo also has a fracture. Her new name is Ruby 😊She was brought in by a passerby. BOTH need to be fixed. It will be costly bills and we are praying for funds. We have had a lot of severe medical cases in the last two years but we often take the ones no one else can or will. Thank you to for getting them out of the shelter bright and early on Saturday and rushing them to safety. ⏰⏰LATE POST⏰⏰ In June, we were fortunate enough to be able to travel to MAINE to see the boys. We went on Father’s Day weekend to visit one of the best dads ever: GROVER 🤎🤎It has been 5 months since we we were there, and the are doing even better than they were in June. They found the BEST parents who helped them adjust and become part of their family. We couldn’t be happier for “our” boys! This post is for everyone who was part of their journey and continues to ask about them ☺️☺️☺️ They are thriving and we are so happy for all of them! 💛 ❤️ 🐾

We helped this sweet boy get to his new home in New Orleans from Miami yesterday. He was scared and confused but today is thriving in a much better environment. 🚨🚨We need to raise the $500 in transport costs for rental and gas 🚨🚨ANY help is appreciated 🙏🙏 We will always help with transportation if we can!! We just want to be sure any dog or cat gets to the right forever home!! That’s part of our mission. Not just rescue. 🐾

It is so sad to see these dogs overbred and dumped. So many people go with the trends and don’t fully research breeds before buying 😢😢 Poodles and poodle mixes are ending up in large numbers at shelters. Yet, people continue to breed and shop. A lot of these breeders with “papers” are false but people fall for it. Please help us raise funds and awareness by sharing this post. This is one of many poodle mixes we have saved in the last few years. Heartbreaking 😢😢😢 Luckily this family didn’t send him to the shelter but that could have very well been his fate. ❤️🐾 ***Link in bio for donations!!! Thank you to all who help us!!! 🖤
