❌ 🍬Steer clear of candy and chocolate. Many candies include toxic ingredients like xylitol, and should be kept out of reach of pets.

❌🚪Watch the front door. Keeps pets away from the doorbell and occupied with safe toys and treats.

❌ 🎭Careful with costumes. Watch out for smaller parts and loose threads that could pose as chewing or choking hazards.

❌👻Mind the decorations. Motion-activated decorations and unpredictable lighting has the potential to startle a pet.

❌🚶🏼‍♀️Walk them before dark. Take your dog around the block before the trick-or-treaters flood the streets.

As an ACVS Board Certified Veterinary Surgeon, his areas of interest include orthopedics, arthroscopy, minimally invasive fracture fixation, and physical rehabilitation.✨

Dr. Havig's credentials include a degree from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine and 12 years of practice in Naples, FL.
