While grieving, we found it very difficult to memorialize our dearly departed the way we felt they desired. We were not able to choose a memorial that best suited our loved one’s beliefs, personality, or wishes. We could not honor their life and memory the way they deserved. There is one specific moment that truly inspired us to embark upon this journey. A very special loved one, with a passion for the outdoors, passed away. If we had known that we could select a tree that represented her personality, and then plant it with her remains, we would have done so. She was a passionate nature lover who would have been thrilled to transition into a glorious tree and remain a part of our lives. This single instance made us ask the question:
