I messed up. I said the words out loud at the vet's when picking up supplies. "This is the easiest calving season we've ever had."
Upon return, I had to get accessory ni**le calf on.
Yesterday, this beauty showed up 12 days past her due date. A little overcooked, she hasn't quite figured out the nursing thing. We ended up tubing her last night.
She knows where to look, so I think she'll catch on with a little help today.

This stage is our favourite for the calves, they're so lively and you can see their personalities coming out. This little one is still quite timid around us but LOVES to wrestle and play when we're away!

| *really* wanted a few John Suscovich chicken tractors so my 16 year old son built me some! I think these are just the cutest... and our little grow outs seem to love them too💖

Tomorrow will be three weeks since budi last heat,and the day she would show signs of heat if she didn’t settle with AI.we will be watching her closely (unusually she is very vocal when she is in heat,so we will be intently too)and praying for mo signs of heat 🙏🏻
