Hello everyone! Yesterday, we had a bit of a scare when Layka started experiencing some concerning symptoms - she was having trouble breathing and seemed unsteady on her feet. We rushed her to the vet right away.
After running some tests, the wonderful Dr. Johnson and her attentive assistant diagnosed Layka with pneumonia. While this was certainly not the news we were hoping for, we’re relieved to know what’s going on and that Layka is now receiving the proper treatment.
I’m happy to report that Layka is already starting to respond well to the medication and care she’s receiving. Her breathing has improved, and she’s resting comfortably at home as she continues her recovery. Dr. Johnson is confident that with some time and TLC, our sweet girl will be back to her usual playful self in no time.
We can’t thank Dr. Johnson, her attentive assistant and whole team at South Beach enough for their quick action and excellent care. And of course, we’re beyond grateful for the love and support from all of Layka’s wonderful fans. Your kind words and well-wishes mean the world to us during this time.
I’ll be sure to keep everyone updated on Layka’s progress. For now, please join us in sending positive thoughts and prayers for a full and speedy recovery for our beloved pup.
