Hello my friends,
Gomi’s dad Micha here,
It’s with great sadness and a broken heart that I share that my sweet little boy Gomi passed away on Sunday, February 22nd. Gomi was almost 12 years old but he was still my baby. I want to tell you, Gomi and I love you guys so much! And we loved sharing his adventures with you over the years and making you happy.
It has taken a few weeks for me to be emotionally able to write about this and tell you. It’s been hard, to be honest I know I loved him, but I didn’t know how much I loved him until he was gone, I’ve never cried so much in my life.
Gomi was a special boy, he was hilarious, he was naughty, perceptive and smart, he had so much personality, so much charm and he made people smile all over the world.
Gomi did not suffer for a long time, he passed quickly from seizures in a matter of an hour or two. It happened suddenly and was a surprise.
He was very happy in the moments before.
It was his time and he chose to go quickly without prolonged suffering so I believe that was a blessing. Gomi lived a long happy life since I first met him when he was 3 months old. He changed my life.
He started off as a social butterfly, a ladies man, the ultimate wingman.. even picking up girls on the beach! Everything he did was over the top and made you laugh and feel emotion.
As he got older, he didn’t like to party as much and became more of a homebody..

He loved play dates especially with he loved his Grandma and the sticks she would bring from Connecticut..
He was a humpaholic.. he was moody and cranky at times, but that what made Gomi Gomi, so much personality! I was always so proud of him, like when he first learned to walk up his steps ..
I’ll miss his special Gomi snuggles, the ones that if you experienced you’ll never forget.
