I have just been notified of a late event for the MMA. That Captain Elliot will no longer be teaching at the MMA. That he was offered a another job opportunity at another school and after weighing his options, decided to take it. The Captain will be missed but will always now that he help teach and lead JROTC that will inturn teach and lead the future members for years to come.

Then To follow the last tradition of Homecoming before the big game, JROTC Leads The parade through town carrying the colors while our Platoon marches on. Once more, The Color Guard consists of the color guard commander, sergeant Karlie Mast, Staff Sergeant Jessica Ludovicy, Private-First Class Austin Higbee, and Private-First class Tristan LaFountain. Staff Sergeant Cody Brashear Takes charge of the platoon.

Then, As per Home coming assembly, The JROTC Color Guards March onto the floor proudly carrying our Nation's and state's colors while our JROTC Company stands ready to salute the colors as they are presented for the pledge of allegiance. The Color Guard consists of the color guard commander, sergeant Karlie Mast, Staff Sergeant Jessica Ludovicy, Private-First Class Austin Higbee, and Private-First class Tristan LaFountain. Commanding the JROTC Company at the time are Staff Sergeants Cody Brashear, and Kenneth Johnston.

To Kick off The Homecoming day, JROTC Bulldog detachment conducts the flag raising of the MHS Victory Flag, Then go to standby to lower the victory flag, and salute as the American flag is raised and the star spangle banner is played.

Hello Cadets! With school in full motion and upcoming events, I'd like to announce that JROTC is in full swing training the next batch of cadets. The first upcoming event is the homecoming parade. Colorguard alpha squad will carry the colors high and proudly while our company marches behind them. Invite your friends and family to see this events (And its FREE! What could be better!)

And this concludes the Mexico High School J.R.O.T.C (Junior Officers Training Corps) 2015 Final inspections day for May 1, 2015. Good job to all MMA and MHS students who participated in this. See you at next years final inspection once more!

Kinda late, but here stands our color guard of MHS lead by private Jaeden Pottebaum
