The shelter animals have returned and also had some adoptions❤️ We are SO thankful for the community we have and the love everyone gave to their foster animal. Thank you everyone for opening your home to keep these babies safe, we appreciate every single one of you, if you fostered, if you shared the post, if you donated, if you tagged people in the posts, if you spent time helping with the evacuation, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you❤️

URGENT Plea to our fellow dog rescues, PLEASE SHARE. The Shelter animals will be coming back from the evacuation but we are completely full with the high intake of strays the past few days. We have dogs up in Laurel Indiana in Franklin County that have been surrendered due to the damage done to the property from flooding and the stress of caring for so many dogs at once with everything going on so they wanted to surrender . The Laurel area was devastated by floods. Right now we're at 5 dogs at the community center in Laurel in crates since there is nowhere for them to go right now with us being completely full. Please, if any of our rescues can pull any dogs that would help us tremendously.

I know Laurel has pretty much been devastated by the floods, but if there’s anybody that can help out at the community center, there’s 13 dogs up there that need assistance letting out throughout the evening. If anybody can get up there and help out that would be great.

Update- a foster has been found, thanks everyone!

Would anyone be able to foster a dog? One of our foster parents for Peach quickly has realized she is allergic to dogs, it would be for the remainder of today and until tomorrow evening (as of right now). Please let us know!
She is 5yrs old, about 54lbs, super sweet, and is dog friendly

It’s been a crazy day!!! A big shoutout to our amazing community for once again, stepping up to help. This is the 2nd time we have had to evacuate the shelter and every single animal was placed in a foster.
-From all of our volunteers, thank you❤️
