A little love for school horse Oakley. He's getting fuzzy and dark and has come such a long way since he arrived here this summer. He's still a little grumpy on the cross ties (it's just an act) but his flat work is impeccable and he's jumping the solids and flowers like a brave man. If you're in business for yourself, you have to take risks. Oakley turned out to be a chance well worth taking! Thanks to working student Emma for posing with him, and for Lauren for giving him a much-needed bath and spa!

So perfect this evening for a lesson. Not too warm, not too cool. Isaac got to ride under an awesome full moon, in a lighted arena with great footing and a hard working school horse who gets better with every ride. We love you. Oakley!

Isn't she pretty? Introducing Sweetea, our new OTTB filly. She is absolutely beautiful and the geldings have all taken notice (she is our only mare right now!!!) I look forward to starting her out in her new career as a riding horse. Huge thanks to her owner, Sadie, and trainer Chris Block for getting her here. We'll take good care of her!
