I would like to take a moment to express my sincere admiration and appreciation for our trainer at Greystone, Antonio.
Throughout my life, I have encountered many trainers, some skilled and others less so,
but none have demonstrated the exceptional combination of gentle demeanor and expertise that Antonio possesses.
His ability to handle horses while cultivating their health, calmness and willingness to work is truly remarkable.

We are incredibly grateful to have him as part of our family.
Antonios unwavering commitment to providing the utmost care and attention to our horses, clients and the farm is invaluable.

We deeply appreciate the positive impact he has on both our equine companions and their human partners.

He truly has a gift

🌷🙏🏼Thank you, Antonio 🙏🏼🌷

It has been a rewarding couple of weeks filled with remarkable achievements during MCDAs Derby and off-site clinic with Joe Yoder.
We are immensely proud of our clients and their horses!

👏🏼🌷Congratulations 🌷👏🏼
Cindy Billinski on securing 2nd place with her training-level horse, Artax, a 4-year-old Sec. B Welsh Cob, in his first outing away from home.
His progress has been impressive!
And we were thrilled to see him shine again the following weekend clinic with Joe Yoder and Adelyn, Cindy’s granddaughter, showcasing his potential in driving.

Then again Cindy and her beginner driving Hanoverian mare, Nessa, away from home for the first time.
Nessa arrived relaxed, forward and ready to work.
Such a fantastic accomplishment!

A HUGE 👏🏼👏🏼 shout out👏🏼👏🏼
To Cindy Beufait and Noel
for their impressive performance in the Derby.
They navigated the obstacles and cones with confidence and lots of fun and laughs. 🥰

Seeing everyone smile and progress positively is the greatest reward for both Antonio and me.

We are eagerly looking forward to this year’s show season and can’t wait to see these wonderful horses and their talented drivers shine!
Let’s go have some fun 😁

Rico, Nero and Coal ❤️
Three of Greystones beautiful souls are relishing their retirement, enjoying a good spring currying and brushing. 🥰
Sharing this moment for everyone who has loved and cherished these boys as much as we have to see they are well and enjoying the life of lazy days and treats.

Forever grateful for the privilege to care for them and provide the comfort and retirement they so rightfulIy deserve.
And I cherish every moment spent with them.

Sorry the pics aren’t not the best.
Will try to post better ones when we have some more color 🌷

I’m not sure who had more fun today with a mini derby set up and a break in the weather, Boo or Lori Allison 😊

A strong top-line can help your horse generate more power from its hind end.
It can also help reduce back pain.
Ground work or even riding your driving horse (if possible) more through the colder winter months with simple excersises, implementing; pole work, working in correct posture, stretching, gait transitions (never enough transitions!) are all great ways to strengthen and establish a more defined top-line

Antonio works with our young horses and foals.
He is gradually introducing them to the saddle cavalletti and carriage.
By taking a slow and steady approach (and much patience) to exposure and introduction, we hope to develop 5-year-olds like Tess—trustworthy, confident, and enjoying her work.

Great job, Antonio
Thank you !!

Greystone is assessing interest in hosting a proficiency testing session with Master Evaluator Terry Picket, a Level 3 Master Proficiency Evaluator for the CAA Proficiency Program, tentatively scheduled for July.

The Driver Proficiency Program
Is based upon an increasing set of skills regarding safety and commonsense horsemanship as relates to driving.
It covers choosing, fitting and maintaining the correct harness and vehicle; balancing a cart; grooming and care of the equine; and safe driving practices.
A study syllabus is available for each of the three levels.
The program has been adapted by the Carriage Association of America (CAA) from the well-recognized British Driving Society’s evaluation program.

The program accommodates 6 to 8 participants per day, with each session lasting approximately 1.5 hours per person.

For more detailed information regarding the CAA proficiency program, please visit the CAA website.

Further details will follow.
Thank you for considering this opportunity
