Established in 1997, PET EMPORIUM is owned and operated by Cheryl Brown. We're conveniently located along Metairie Road. Our fully trained staff offers TOP-QUALITY Professional Grooming, Boarding, & Doggie Daycare services in a warm, loving, & fun-filled environment.

We are currently in search of Fun-loving, friendly new staff members, Specifically, Dog Groomers.

This job is composed of a variety of different tasks that are covered by operational guidelines, and while individual judgement may occasionally be required in order to complete assigned tasks; most questions are directed to either the grooming salon manager or the general manager.

The incumbent must be able to consistently perform all of the following duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation.

Provide quick and courteous service to all customers.
Ensure standards are maintained in the department
Professionally perform basic bathing and dematting services on Dogs as requested by customers and in accordance with company policy and procedure, ensuring the safety and well-being of the animals
Move animals and merchandise up to 50 pounds.
The majority of job duties are conducted in the grooming salon. This position requires bending, kneeling, lifting up to 50 pounds, and standing for long periods of time.
