We have a big beautiful boy available for adoption. This gentle giant came to us because him person was having some medical issues and could not care for him. He is 18 pounds, 5 years old,has beautiful coat and skin condition and he is DECLAWED. Vaccinations and vet physical current
He needs a home where he will not have to be in a cage while sharing time out of the kennel with other cats.
He loves being petted and being around people. Owner said he is mellow and so far that is what we have seen.

Please consider opening you home to this boy. He needs a home now.

June is Adopt-A-Shelter- Cat month

Looking for a furr-ever friend? Adopt a cat. There are many lovable cats and kittens that are just waiting to come into your home!!
Looking for a wonderful companion to brighten your life? We know them purrfectly well and are familiar with their purrsonalities and preferences. We can tell you who's a cuddler, who's a play mate, and who's a lover. We know who wants to be an only cat and who wants to be part of a herd. If we don't think the cat you've chosen is perfect for you or for your home, we'll tell you. We want every cat to be a happy cat, and we want happy adopters too.
Also, please remember that adopting a pet is a lifelong commitment! Your pets depend on you to make them a part of your family and care for them through thick and thin. In turn they'll take care of you as well with years of unconditional love.

Shelters and rescues have many kittens for you to choose from. All colors, sizes and genders. They also have some wonderful adult cats that are very laid back and would make a quiet friendly companion for you to have sitting by your side while you watch TV, read or take a relaxing nap.

The shelter has some cats and kittens that are available for adoption but can't leave until their visit to the vet. They are normally not posted on line until closer to the time they are ready to leave the shelter. You can always adopt one of these animals but will need to wait to take them to their forever home.

Is anyone looking for a sweet gentle but shy companion cat??? Oreo has been waiting for someone to welcome her into their home. she is only about 1 year old. She was adopted as a kitten months and spent the next 10 months with one person. Unfortunately this person passed away and Oreo is looking for a home. We know she does not like other cats but this could be because she was never around others for so long. We are recommending she goes to a home with no other cats just to be safe.
Once she feels safe she loves being petted, brushed and plays with toys. This kitty really needs to get out of the shelter environment with all the noise and people.
