Since having moved to TX from ID, my heart is broken seeing all of the lost and homeless dogs in my area, many being hit and killed, left on the side of the road.

Since moving here, I have found out that a lot of locals are actually SUPER against breeders, however, I’m not sure how many people have ever dealt or met with an ethical breeder and when I mean ethical, I mean ETHICAL and RESPONSIBLE.

I am wanting to help my community, so I have written an email to my local animal shelter to see if they would be willing to work with a breeder. Kind of unheard of right? Breeder and rescues working together?

I have about 120 microchips and I have proposed volunteering and organizing a microchip day in my area, where the shelter and I can offer $10 microchipping for pets (helping with re unification of lost pets) This is one of many resources I’d love to offer.

And starting now, any future litters we produce, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to our local shelter.

Here’s to hopefully providing some good in our community!

PUPDATE - Despite being consumed by our hectic schedules with house renovations and daily life, I haven’t had the chance to share updates about this incredible little fighter!

Well, I am thrilled to announce that we have achieved the impossible! We have saved this tiny guy, and he is the sole survivor of his five-puppy litter. Batman is a shining example of resilience and strength; he has always been a fighter and has consistently demonstrated an unwavering will to live.

Initially, he was the puppy that the vet advised me to monitor closely due to his slow heart rate and low body temperature. In fact, the vet informed me that both Batman and his brother were unlikely to survive and would likely pass away within the next few days. Unfortunately this was the reality for his brother who sadly passed away almost two days later, but we refused to give up on Batman!

I was committed to waking up every 2 hours to feed him, and I am relieved that those sleepless nights are behind us! As he progressed, we transitioned him to puppy mush, which he thrived on, and now he is enjoying kibble and water. Batman has all of his puppy teeth and is a lot less wobbly when walking.

He is definitely developing is own littler personality, and as you can imagine, we have grown deeply attached to him. He is strong, healthy, and an inspiration to us all. Batman has taught us invaluable lessons about perseverance and the importance of never giving up, even when the odds are against us. His story serves as a powerful reminder to maintain our faith, determination, and conviction that our actions can make a profound difference.

Unlike some breeders who might have given up on him due to his diagnosis with fading puppy syndrome, we chose to fight for his life. As responsible and compassionate breeders, we believe that every life is precious and deserves a chance to thrive. I am committed to doing everything in my power to ensure that all my puppies receive the care and love they deserve.

Batman’s journey is a testament to the impact of unwavering dedication and love.

Puppy Update. Regrettably, we experienced the loss of our small chocolate piebald male a few nights ago. Nevertheless, his brother, the black and tan piebald, is exhibiting notable signs of improvement. He is not out of danger yet, as several weeks remain where any complications could arise. However, he is gaining substantial weight daily and has commenced nursing from his mother. Consequently, his feeding schedule has been extended to every 3 hours from every 2 hours, although we still supplement his feedings. The successful improvement in his suckling and nursing abilities is a promising and positive sign!

-UPDATE-
208 Dox Dynasty (dachshund breeding kennel) and imperial Pomeranians (Pomeranian breeding kennel) are moving/expanding to TX!

As much as we love Idaho and all of our puppy parents -who have opened their hearts and homes to our beautiful dachshund pups, we just cannot afford the increasingly insane prices in Idaho, we are hoping that by moving to a warmer climate, this will allow all of our dogs the room and means to run, play, and exercise almost all year round!

We will be establishing a breeding kennel and a boarding kennel with more property for the dogs and be building them their own little doggy kingdom!

We do offer transporting so if you’re in Idaho and are wanting a puppy from us, we can definitely still make arrangements!

We will miss our family, friends, and pet parents, but it’s time to expand, dream big, and create our empire 🤍👑

Took these little babes to the vet last night was there until 2am. They confirmed that they both have fading puppy syndrome and that the prognosis was not good. The vet said the black pup had a low body temp and a low heart rate and that he was the worse out of the two.
They couldn’t do much for them as they are so tiny, that they couldn’t place an IV in either of them but they did give them fluids through injection and dewormed them, the vet said they would likely be passing within a few days.

BUT we didn’t take that as an answer! The vets failed to inform me that the amount I was allowing them to drink was almost TWICE the amount that they need per their body weight.. 😑 so due to over feeding the little chocolate male woke up screaming and yelping this morning in severe pain due to BLOAT!

I did some online research and found some ways ai could help relieve the pain.
I made sure he was kept warm, held him in a position (for 3 hrs) to make sure the milk that was overfed to him that was still in his belly didn’t come up and he didn’t aspirate on it.
Made sure to give him honey to keep his blood sugars stabilized and manually helped him go potty, he was able to have a bowel movement (yay! This means no blockages!) however he did have a bit of bloody stool which could be from the dewormer upsetting the lining of his stomach

He’s all better now though and is sleeping with his brothers (peep photos) next feeding will be only electrolytes for him to help him digest all of that milk in his tummy.

He is doing MUCH better!

Both are still strong, both still have a will to eat and live, and both haven’t given up yet so I will not give up on them!

I will weigh them soon to see if they have gained anything while they have been in their recovery/stabilization period
