Over the past year, I’ve made some thoughtful changes to my breeding program.

I’ve chosen to keep only the girls that I truly feel complement the males I have and fit the vision I have for the future of shihtzusparadise. Every pairing is planned with purpose—not just to produce puppies, but to consistently move my program in the direction I’ve envisioned.

The qualities I’m striving for are a low-to-the-ground, cobby build, large round expressive eyes, a high nose set, beautiful round heads, and Healthy, sweet, affectionate temperaments that make Shih Tzus so special.

Sometimes moving forward means making difficult decisions—retiring dogs I love, placing some in wonderful homes, and being very selective about who stays in the program. It isn’t about having more dogs; it’s about having the right dogs.

Can you find a Shih Tzu for less? Absolutely.

But if you don’t see the difference in what I’m working toward at Shih Tzus paradise, then I encourage you to choose the puppy that best fits your budget. Every family deserves a puppy they love, and every breeder has different goals.

My goal has never been to produce the cheapest puppies. My goal is to produce puppies that reflect years of careful planning, selective breeding, health testing, quality nutrition, and a lifelong commitment to every puppy I raise.

Quality over quantity. Purpose over convenience. That’s the future of Shih Tzu's paradise .

This is pebbles and Rex‘s litter that was born last week. She had two puppies one was 7.4 ounces at birth. She is now 8.9 ounces so both girls are doing great.

This is Scarlett and Rex litter that was born a week ago. It was five puppies we lost one that was very tiny and we lost her yesterday. This video shows each one of them and only one has a name so far and that is Zane. They are all gaining weight and are from 7.3 oz to 9.5 oz.
