After seeing so many incredible Bull Terriers at the Santa Barbara Dog Show Weekend Bullyganza, it only felt right to pick these guys this week!

Meet the unmistakable Bull Terrier! 🥚🐶

With their distinctive egg shaped head, triangular eyes, muscular build, and larger than life personalities, Bull Terriers are one of the most recognizable breeds in the dog world!

Originally developed in England in the 1800s, Bull Terriers were bred from Bulldog and Terrier lines to create a strong, athletic, determined companion. Today, they’re known for being playful, courageous, mischievous, and incredibly devoted to their people. ❤️

🐾 Did you know? There are TWO sizes of Bull Terrier!
The Standard Bull Terrier and the Miniature Bull Terrier share the same unmistakable look and spirited personality, but the Miniature is bred to a smaller size. Despite being smaller, Miniature Bull Terriers have just as much confidence, character, and terrier attitude! 😄

One of the things I love about working with so many different breeds at Prickly Pear Canine Cryobank is seeing just how much variety there is in canine reproduction and preservation. Every breed brings its own unique characteristics and the Bull Terrier is certainly no exception! I have found them to be so quirky and fun but sensitive. I loved getting to meet all your Bull Terriers this weekend.
