Dog was at front of kennel, panting, soft face, ears perked. Began frantic demand barking as handler was readying leash. Pushed snout against open gate, able to be contained, allowed leashing. Exited with moderate pull, straight to door, no reaction to neighboring dogs. Outside, dog walked with moderate pull, barking, not appearing to direct barking at any particular thing. In yard, dog paced briefly, whining, occasionally stopping to stare up at handler but easy to direct attention away. Dog softened, began allowing petting. Sniffed into handler's treat pouch, appearing interested, but did not follow treats when handler tossed them. Handler turned away from dog, closed treat pouch. Dog wandered around yard, occasional whining, allowed handler to follow parallel. Second handler entered yard to assist with return. Dog approached second handler, soft face, jumped up for attention, allowed more petting. Dog had light pull on return, brief barking. Entered kennel wing, then began resisting on leash when nearing open kennel, rose to hind legs and thrashed head once. Handler waited for dog to settle, attempted to guide dog into kennel with light leash pressure. Dog began pulling back, thrashing on leash. Second handler was at outside gate, began calling to dog; dog's ears perked, then dog entered kennel. Handler closed gate, dog turned quickly and began rhythmic barking, pawing at gate. Handler removed leash via clip lead to prevent attempt to push out.

Closed outside for AM cleaning. Dog approached handler with soft body and wagging tail, took treats gently. Vocalized with high pitched yip when handler placed leash, hard pull to yard, showed no interest in kenneled dogs. Vocal and whining when entering yard, panting heavily, handler sat in chair, dog approached with soft body and wagging tail, leaned into handler's legs and allowed petting all over, knows sit, paw and down, took treats gently. Stayed with handler the whole time soliciting attention and treats, remained soft with wagging tail, would turn head when petting back end but no attempts to make contact with hand. Followed handler to gate, became vocal again, leaned into handler when picking up leash, allowed more pets, easy walk back to kennel, hesitant to enter, handler tossed treats, dog started to enter kennel then quickly exited, resisted as handler tried guiding in, could not return dog to inside portion due to kennel still being cleaned, called for assistance, second handler arrived and was going to open divider and coax dog in, handler walked dog back to outside portion of kennel, dog then entered kennel without any coaxing or guidance, tried pushing back out as handler removed leash by hand.
