Draggin claves to the fire 🔥

Proud of this stud! Spent the last 3 months breeding mares and he was rode once before we left for Colorado then he spent all weekend gathering pairs, sorting, roping/dragging and pushing pairs back out.
All while working along side mares 🤣🤣

He’s not to bad of a pony especially with his first ride being 8 month ago.

He’s a tank dragging the big bull claves!

Fun little stroll around the desert with Ridge. He’s riding technically still a 3yr old gelding. Good quiet minded baby.

Milo’s first show is in the books!
Excited to have things to work on and excited to see the progress we’ve made in the last couple months.

Overall he handled everything well for
a young horse, excited for the next show to be even better.

Getting client horses out to do a hard days work exposes them to so much.

Getting up and saddling before the sun, trailering to a new location, riding with a group and branching off alone, being patient and standing while fixing down fences and just being around the chaos of everything involved with ranching seems to matures a horse.

More of yesterday’s adventures looking for cows that don’t want to be found.

Nothing will convince me this isn’t the best place to be. Climbing mountains, looking for cows with a good horse and good dogs.

“Troy” got to experience the ranch today. A lot of solo riding, climbing and navigating tough country.

Ms Barbie had her first ride today.
Just the way I like them. Boring 🥱

Barbie is a friend/client horse and I have her full brother, “Easy!” Super cool to be able to start both of them!

Her momma has some big plans for her future! She’s got a very willing brain and tries so hard to please.

Excited to continue getting her broke.
