Today we lost Shelby Love to cancer & now she’s in dog heaven. Absolutely braking our hearts but the right thing to do so she’s not suffering. We appreciate all your prayers and positive energy. This is her last picture happy on her way to heaven. I am still recovering from heart surgery away so I wasn’t able to be there but I sang to her on the truck ride to the vet and while she was in the vet for her last minutes. She was wagging her tail!

Anything is great that protects dogs and animals. I’ve seen these puppy mills in Arizona and nothing is being done about it. Breeders killing puppies they didn’t sell! Makes me sick

Florida has passed a new law designed to protect dogs during natural disasters, following the heartbreaking story of a bull terrier named Trooper. Trooper’s Law makes it a felony to abandon a dog who is restrained during a declared emergency such as a hurricane or flood. Trooper was found barely alive after being left behind during a severe storm, exhausted, frightened, and still waiting for the people who never came back. His story quickly spread across the state and stirred public anger and compassion. Lawmakers acknowledged that dogs experience fear and loyalty even in the most dangerous situations. Beyond penalties, the law encourages emergency pet shelters, better reunification systems, and disaster planning that includes animals. Trooper’s Law sends a clear message that abandoning a dog during a crisis will no longer be tolerated.

While it might be earlier than you planned, it's impossible to stay grumpy with a face this happy staring at you. It's truly the best, most loving motivation to start a brand-new day. Embracing the early wake-ups is just part of the joy of Lab ownership. Rise and shine, world, the Lab demands cuddles! 😂⏰

A Lab's favorite place is right next to their human, preferably on the plushest spot on the sofa! 🛋️ It's where the best snuggles happen, and every soft landing feels like pure love. Their happiness blossoms when they are part of the indoor family action, free to roam and relax. This comfort is a symbol of the true bond we share, built on trust and freedom. Let's celebrate choosing the couch life over any chains, always. We wouldn't trade these cozy moments for anything in the world! ❤️🐾
