🐴 A Message from Walk on Water Equine Assisted Therapy 🐴

Dear Friends and Supporters,
For years, Walk on Water has proudly provided life-changing equine-assisted services to individuals and families through the Sunshine Health HCBS program. These programs are more than sessions — they’re moments of healing, confidence-building, and connection for those we serve. 💙

However, we are currently navigating a difficult financial season due to delayed reimbursements for services we’ve delivered since May 17. We've recently learned that this is the result of an ongoing statewide audit of the Sunshine Health HCBS program, which is impacting providers like us across Florida. At this time, there is no clear timeline for when payments will resume.

Despite these challenges, we remain fully committed to showing up for our community — our participants, our horses, and our mission. But we can’t do it alone.

🌾 Most importantly, our horses still need daily care — including hay, feed, farrier and veterinary services — and our programs rely farm equipment, educational tools, and of course our wonderful staff who make the magic happen. Your support helps bridge the gap during this critical time.

Memories pop up such as this one that we love to see how our horses who now have angel wings were able to teach lessons to people from all over the world😇🤍

Did you know that this year will be our 10th anniversary of hosting the East Coast Ranch Ministry Clinic? In honor of Gods kindness and provision for over 10 years of bringing people from all over the world to learn and grow their equine ministries… we have changed the name to the International Ranch Ministry Conference and Fellowship!

We have had attendees and speakers from Australia, Canada, Peru and this year Norway!! The Lord is on the move!

This event started as an afternoon meeting on the lawn of Wings of Hope Ranch in 2014. If you’re counting, you will discern that we skipped a year of hosting in 2020 due to covid. ���

From there, the event grew from a one day to an entire weekend event AND we started moving it to other similar ministries around the east coast who were kind enough to host the event! Those were:

Walk On Water Ministries
Shepherd Youth Ranch
Hope Reins Ranch
Ready Yourselves Youth Ranch

In 2021 Wings of Hope Ranch was blessed with its forever home, which is now the perfect venue for this growing conference annually!

We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Property Management Team Member to join our team and assist with the ongoing care and maintenance of our property and equipment. This role involves a combination of grounds, facility, and equipment maintenance with a focus on keeping our property in top condition for all users. If you are a self-starter with a hands-on attitude and an eye for detail, we'd love to have you on board.
General Responsibilities:
Property & Grounds Maintenance (As Needed):
• Mow, w**d, and maintain pastures and riding areas.
• Assist the Barn Management Team with pasture rotation, seeding, and fertilization efforts.
• Repair and maintain fencing, gates, and stall doors to ensure safety and security.
• Ensure the riding arena is properly graded and watered to support safe use.
• Maintain walkways, driveways, and parking areas.
• Handle irrigation systems and drainage issues.
Facility & Equipment Maintenance (As Needed):
• Perform routine inspections and repairs on barns, shelters, and buildings.
• Keep water lines, automatic waterers, and electrical systems in working order.
• Maintain farm equipment, vehicles, and tools, including tractors, mowers, trailers, and more.
• Perform minor plumbing, carpentry, and electrical repairs.
• Ensure all maintenance areas are kept clean, organized, and safe for operation.
Safety & Compliance:
• Ensure that all public spaces, barn areas, and equipment are safe and in proper working condition.
• Follow industry best practices for fire safety, biosecurity, and waste management.
• Comply with state and local regulations related to farm and animal care.
• Assist with emergency preparedness planning (weather-related emergencies, fire safety, evacuations, etc.).

Qualifications:
• Previous experience in property management, maintenance, or similar field preferred.
• Familiarity with farm equipment, machinery, and basic repairs (plumbing, electrical, carpentry).
• Ability to handle outdoor maintenance tasks, including lawn care, irrigation, and equipment upkeep.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment or materials as needed.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A proactive, reliable, and safety-conscious attitude.

🌟 Gratitude Spotlight: Camp 2025 Supporters 🌟

We’re incredibly thankful for the generous support that helped make Camp 2025 a reality! That's a wrap on an incredible week of camp! 🌞🐴 Our riders finished strong with scenic trail rides, unforgettable water day fun, and lots of hands-on activities. Most importantly, they heard the life-changing message of salvation through Christ. 🙌 We were truly blessed to spend this week with such an amazing group of kids — memories made, lessons learned, and hearts full! 💦💛

Day 4 at WOW Camp was packed with fun and growth! 🌟 We kicked off the morning with Bible study, crafts, and some exciting games. During horseback riding, our campers continued building independence in the saddle—some even started trotting! 🐎🍪 Later, we put our measuring skills to the test while baking cookies (educational AND delicious!). To wrap it all up, campers splashed the afternoon away during a much-needed water day. 💦 It was the perfect way to cool off and celebrate another amazing day at camp!

Day 3 of camp at Walk on Water Ministries was full of big strides and joyful moments! 🐎 Our riders started riding independently today and are already working their way toward trotting—so proud of their progress! 🙌 Campers also dove deeper into the Roman Road and even learned a fun dance to go along with it! 🎶 From exciting games to creative crafts, it was another amazing day growing in faith and friendship! 💛

Day 2 of camp at Walk on Water Ministries was full of faith, fun, and unforgettable moments! 🌟 We kicked off the morning diving into God’s Word with Bible study and learned our verse of the day together. ✝️ Then it was off to the barn, where all of our riders began learning how to start riding and worked on navigating through some obstacles! 🐴 The day was packed with games, crafts, and so many smiles—we’re so grateful for the joy and growth we’re seeing in each camper! 💙

A huge THANK YOU to the Brevard County Sheriff's Office, Florida (Official) for coming out and giving an incredible K9 demonstration! 🐾🚔 It was amazing to see the skill, discipline, and dedication of these amazing dogs and their handlers. We’re so grateful for all they do to help keep our community safe. What an awesome experience!
