It has been some time since I’ve posted updates. We’ve just been extremely busy finishing up the apartment and getting all the systems working and doubled up. We are still off grid and making it work. You can’t imagine the learning curves. I will be posting updates soon. For now, in light of the challenges we are all facing due to the unexpected amount of snow we are all receiving, please allow me to share one of the things which keeps me going.
Daily I ask God for help. I pray for him to give me the strength and fortitude to press on to a better future for my kids and grandkids knowing that what I do today will make a difference for them. Not just feeding and caring for the animals they enjoy, but building a homestead site they will benefit from. God does give me the strength and sometimes He says hello. I see it when I look at all the beauty around me. Yesterday, He shared in an unexpected way.
You see God does most things in 7s. He made the earth and rested on the 7th day, He sent the 7 plagues in Mose’s time, and many more 7s are written about in scripture. He also works in 3s. Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Birth, Life, and Death. God, Husband, and Wife are just some examples. Well, God sends us all answers in ways personal to ourselves.
I have had to idle the pickup much more than usual the past couple days as I have spent hours plowing snow and breaking ice for the critters. There have been moments when I just didn’t want to do another task. In one of these moments, I retreated to the cab of the pickup and received a “hello” on the dash.
Perhaps only having meaning to me, but here is what I read. The miles (77.7) have been done within God’s plans. The miles to go (333) can be done with Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. And with God, all things are possible (7.3). Tell me, what are some of the messages you receive. I know God talks to us all.
