Long name but a nice little owner run store with a decent selection of fish and a growing selection of plants (as you can see).

New life at the Ranch. This little guy is only about 1/8-1/4" and has been hiding for at least 2 weeks and just popped up during feeding time today. He is an Mbuna an African Cichlid the originates from Lake Malawi. LABIDOCHROMIS "MBAMBA" and yes I have sung his name to the Richie Valens tune 😀

I picked this potted Canna Lilly out at Home Depot. The blooms on it then were a deep red. After letting it attempt to seed, then cutting back the cares, this is what it has now produced.

This plant hangs on our patio, but the blooms are only open early in the day until a little after mid-day. It then pulls it's blooms in to protect them from the cold until it re-blooms the next day.

Some of the patio and water garden work that I have been slowly working on.

I've decided to put all this stuff on a page dedicated to just the tornado of animals and plants we deal with every day. Pics of the wildlife will follow soon....lol.
