𝗡𝗘𝗨𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗧𝗜𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗚: 𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗦𝗜𝗭𝗘 𝗙𝗜𝗧𝗦 𝗡𝗢𝗡𝗘.
For years, the rule was simple:
“Six months. Everyone. Every time.”
But biology doesn’t follow blanket rules.
We now know that neutering too early can affect joint development, muscle strength, growth plates, even cancer risk, especially in large breeds.
And timing matters for behaviour too: hormones shape confidence, social stability, and resilience.
Early desexing isn’t wrong.
But it’s not always right, either.
Integrative medicine means asking the deeper question:
“What does this individual animal need - right now - for lifelong wellness?”
That’s why we don’t do one-size-fits-all answers.
We do timing, breed, temperament, and context.
Because wellness isn’t a policy.
It’s precision care.
Agree? Disagree? Let’s talk.
