Volunteer run, and veterinarian managed, this program is solely focused and dedicated to the successful establishment of a TNR outreach program in Mentone, IN.
This community outreach program has multiple branches being utilized- the primary goal is to humanely capture the feral/stray feline population in Mentone and have them spayed/neutered, and vaccinated. Those that are truly feral or are an unfriendly stray will be returned to Mentone, in the location they were caught, and released after surgical recovery.
All humane traps are placed with food and water, in public areas- if you have any concerns about a humane trap you have found, please reach out to the phone number provided on the trap- we ask that you not disturb the humane traps. All humane traps are regularly monitored.
We operate within all local ordinances- Our local town ordinances regarding our care plan can be found here: https://mentonein.gov/ordinances
**We are NOT available to assist with owned animals needing care- if you are in need of spay/neuter services for an owned animal, please reach out to: https://lowcostspayneuterindiana.org/about/
