Membership Information:

K-9 OTC is an AKC-affiliated obedience club. All breeds, including mixed breeds are welcome to attend obedience classes and become club members. Associate Membership: This is an introductory membership to K-9 and includes 8 weeks of Beginner 1 and 8 weeks of Beginner 2 (4 consecutive months). Associate members placement in Novice, Open or Utility is subject to approval. R

egular Membership: Regular membership may be obtained once the Associate membership period is completed. Regular members have a wide range of training options with low annual dues. There is someone to help you Thursday evenings between 6:00-8:30 p.m. or Sunday morning between 9:00-11:30 a.m.

These puppies and their owners just completed the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Program at K9 OTC. Owners and dogs worked as a team from day one. Several signed up for the next K4 class.

K-9 OTC is happy to announce that Jay Penneau has been selected by its members as our 2025 Volunteer of the Year! This award recognizes this member’s invaluable volunteer efforts through their dedication and commitment to K-9 and our membership.
Jay is a workhorse. He’s an instructor, trial secretary, equipment manager, FETCH judge, trial volunteer, and a member of K-9’s buildings and grounds committee. If we need anything fixed, he can usually come up with a fantastic solution.
We are lucky to have Jay as a member. Congratulate him by “liking” this post, or if you see him out and about, give him a shout-out.

Dog Egg Hunt: Your pups will be able to use their sniffer to find the hidden Easter Eggs filled with dog treats. It's a tail-wagging good time for all dog lovers! The event starts at 2 pm with egg hunts starting every 15 minutes.

$10 per dog
