Yesterday's adventure!!
"Another Wednesday has rolled around, and that can only mean another adventure for Linda, our volunteer, and one of our lucky shelter pups! Today, it was May-May’s turn to go, go, go! Here’s what Linda had to say about their time together:
“When I first heard May-May’s story, coming up here all the way from a high-kill shelter in Georgia, I was so looking forward to meeting her and seeing how she was. Oh Wow! I could not have been more happy and delighted with this amazing girl! She is around 3 years old, medium build, with the sweetest smile and happiest tail I have ever seen! She was full of kisses, and demanded some belly rubs before we got on our way!
We started out visiting Melissa at Bay Cities radio. May-May was great on air, and had so much fun being interviewed! Next, we stopped to pose for pics at 35th and Coffee- she was so happy to meet Jaylin and was intrigued by the smells emitting from there! (Me too, girlfriend!) We thought we would venture down to the marina, since the sun was peeking through the clouds. What a great idea! There were so many people who were so happy to make her acquaintance! And she gave out so many smiles and kisses and butt wiggles- it was if she was a rock-star! On our walk-about, we happened to meet Darrin, owner of Home of Yesterday antiques. What a nice man, and dog friendly shop! His dogs, we found out, were also from Menominee Animal Shelter! What a great morning!
It was starting to get hot, and we were both needing some water, so we headed back to the shelter. What a great morning!
Here’s what I can tell you about May-May: she walks beautifully on a leash, likes to ride shotgun in the car to help navigate, is a total love-bug, seems to like other dogs, was indifferent to cats, takes treats ever so gently, and keeps her kennel clean. She sounds pretty perfect to me! What are you waiting for?!?!”
If you would like us to visit your business on adventure Wednesdays, please let us know. We deliver smiles and good moods to all!"
