everyone meet Juniper!!!
'Juniper' is a grey fox who was trapped for PEST reasons. and processed and tanned to prevent waste. now his soul his in my goblin hands..and I can tell his story and make him anew again.

I'm working on new clay structure for this lady that's in queue! It was just starting to make me upset the way she looked. Now that I'm more experienced as a taxidermist; I've learned how to do "remounting". I'm going back in and giving his lady more built up muscles since I normally NEVER use deadcast forms. Took some great advice from an art friend and let's see how she does!!

Have I ever done I mount for you that is in need of some new love? Do they just bluntly need to be touched up and redone for whatever reason? I am a learning taxidermist and sometimes things just happen. But now- that I know so much more I wanna reach out to an invitation to past clients to touch up your old mounts. (Cost will be determined for work that needs to be done.)

Mounts that are older than 2 years I don't know If I can remount due to the mounting process. Feel free to message me and I might be able to help you out in general with some adjustments. I just might not be able to do a full redo on every single mount that after a while; needed some new love. [Also depends on how the hide was tanned]

I really appreciate everyone who has given me and my shop a chance while I'm still learning!! So many of you are so kind and patient it's what keeps me going.

It's hard to admit when you messed up; but when you're a small business you've gotta adapt with every mistake and make your business better and shine. ✨️🌙

Finally got myself out and about now that the UP is losing most of its snow from that snow storm last month! Dave's Falls still had a bit of snow; so we couldn't get down to the actual falls to take photos. but- we still got a lot of fun ones taken there. I love Dave's falls!!

This is my current queue !! I have a secret project I can't really show tho 👁👁 [pan's labyrinth inspired small animal!!]

FOR CLIENTS IN THIS QUEUE: All projects are aimed to be finished by next week. shipped out on the next available business day.

PROJECTS ABOUT TO ENTER PRODUCTION: They are expected to start "reanimating" also next week.

As it gets to summer; projects open up irl for me and I finally have the time to get them done! I unfortunately live in a place that is in need of lots of repair work. so now that it's summer we are trying our best to finally get our place fixed up. [no more attic pigeons!!]

So please- be kind during this time for me. I am diagnosed disabled, and I have a lot of general issues and try my absolute hardest to get everything done timely. it's just a transitional period where I live [UP Michigan] as we finally get sunshine and blooming flowers!

Howdy my creatures of the night! Tonight, we formally welcome: Azeban the Soft Mount Taxidermy Raccoon into the Morgue!

Raccoons are such fun little dudes to work on!! This evening- Azeban explores the house and shows off his inner trickster!! [with my cats lol]

What is soft mount taxidermy? Soft mounts are a type of Taxidermy fit to be like an art doll! so poseble, bendy, plush, but not like stuffed animals!! these dudes are NOT meant to be cuddled. they were LIVE animals at one point. they have claws- and they have wire inside them. protected wire; but if rough housed too much the wire could pierce the skin and harm you. so please!! careful with these dudes!! they're not toys!! ☺️✨️
