Many of you know me or maybe have heard of me through my nail business - I've been a nail tech for over 25 years. I like doing nails, I really do,but for a long time, I've daydreamed of owning a different kind of salon. You see, dogs have been a part of my world practically my whole life! My interest in grooming began with my Irish Setter, Rielly. I showed him a few times in AKC events when I was

a young teenager and have always been interested in the grooming and clipping aspect of showing (to me, it was way more fun that actually showing) however, I never had access to any kind of training.....until last year! I have a nail client and great friend (who owned her own successful grooming shop until she injured her back) agreed to take me on as her protege and teach me everything she knows!! I cannot believe my good fortune!! I've been training for several months now, and will continue to train for at least another year, but here we are:

GROOMINGDALES It's a small salon in my home for now, but as we grow I will most likely move to a storefront. As I continue to learn, I am offering discounted services. Please know that there will be imperfections as this is a learning process! And although they may not be perfect by my standards, my teacher is by my side covering up and fixing any flub-ups on my part!

Our silent door greeter and non threatening security guard. He just turned 15!! You might often see him hanging out in the cage bank when you come in as he’s decided he’s too good to hang out with the rest of the dogs outside and hates to be away from his dad for too long. His only flaw is he absolutely hates to be bathed and groomed and “honks” the whole time but we love him anyways. Happy Valentines Day to our old man! ♥️
