Do you see these cute faces?? They need new farms! We were down to 2, but then 2 that were reserved became available!!!!! So we have 4 pups left. They are already running with free-range chickens, turkeys, guineas, as well as goats, llamas, alpacas and the occasional rabbit that escapes the colony. Mom, dad and aunty are teaching them to protect and not play with the feathered folks!!
If you need a new LGD pup to replace one that is retiring, or you are just starting your farm or homestead and losing the coyote/fox/raccoon battle, these pups are for you!! They are from great working lines, dad is proven hawk And coyote killer, mom and aunt work the perimeter. They will earn back every cent you spend on them!!

Well, folks, our time at Reelfoot is coming to an end. Here is a video of the last section we are going to complete.

Fun nature fact:
robins push babies out of the nest so they can learn how to walk around on the ground and hop into a bush if there is a predator.
Now, of course when I found this baby, my first thought was baby fell out of nest and needed to be saved.
So many times we rush to rescue things that we consider to be in need of our rescue. Thankfully, instead of rushing to intervene, I observed. I saw 2 robins going up and down out of a tree, watching their baby better than some humans.
See how God gives us such beautiful lessons? I learned so many.
1- don't jump to conclusions, be observant.
2- don't judge things you don't understand
3- productive struggle is real, healthy, and necessary.
Maybe we should push our kids out of the nest (their comfort zone) more so that they can grow and develop!!
