Starting August 1st, we will be following the guidance of our veterinarian and will begin requiring the Canine Influenza Vaccination again for all boarding and daycare pups. No exceptions! This is for the safety of all our pets!
Due to a nationwide supply shortage, veterinarians and boarding facilities have had to temporarily pause the requirement of this vaccine over the last year. However, it appears that the shortage is now over.
Symptoms of Canine Influenza can mimic Kennel Cough and include coughing, nasal discharge, runny eyes, feeling unwell, and in some cases, fever and pneumonia. We have unfortunately seen these symptoms recently. Our top priority is the health and wellbeing of your pups, so we appreciate your understanding and cooperation!
If you have any appointments booked after August 1st, please have your pupβs Influenza vaccine updated and upload their records to the app at least 2 days prior to drop off. Thank you so much for allowing us to care for your furry loved ones!
