VETERANS AT VA BONHAM CHRISTMAS DRIVE 2022
Christmas for Vets at VA Bonham is undeerway NOW!! We would like this year to be as successful as in the past. There are ONLY certain items that are accepted . If you prefer to have us do the shopping you may donate via paypal under miniencounters or we can pick up your donations. We will make one trip to deliver before Christmas so would like the donations by Dec. 10.
We appreciate your interest in wanting to serve Veterans and below is an updated
needs listing. All items must be new and in original packaging.
Clothing & Comfort Items:
• Athletic Shorts (Men – various sizes)
• Sweat Pants/Tops (Men – Large – 2XL)
• Zip up Sweat Jackets (Men – Medium – 2XL) only, no coats please.
• Toothpaste
• Body Wash (no bar soap or hotel/motel toiletries)
• Denture Adhesive & Cleaner
Refreshments: Individually wrapped snack items to include ingredients are welcome,
but no homemade food items. Items such as the following:
• Peanut Butter/Cheese Crackers
• Granola Bars, Fig Bars
• Chips, Cookies (Variety Pack, Individual Bags)
• Bottled Water
• Ground Coffee, Liquid Creamer (individual packs/cups only)
Miscellaneous:
• Clear Storage Totes with Lids – 6 Quart, W: 8-1/4", H: 4-3/4", L: 13-1/2"
• Earphones (prefer those that go over the ear with adjustable headband)
• Lanyard Eye Glass Holders
• Plastic Models (Cars, Airplanes, Ships, Etc.)
