Today we’re sending a big Happy Birthday to the one and only Suzy — our front desk queen, cat enthusiast, and Maybeck’s go-to for all things organized and awesome.

Suzy has been purr-viding top-notch customer service at Maybeck for 12 years now!

Whether she’s juggling phone calls, scheduling appointments with lightning speed, or sneaking in a quick cat cuddle, Suzy does it all with heart. If you’ve ever felt instantly at ease the moment you walked in the door, chances are it’s thanks to her!

Oliver is such a good boy! At 11 weeks he’s doing a great job with his new tricks—just look how handsome he is sitting! He was given a treat for his good behavior in the second photo. As you can see, he knows not to bite the hand that feeds him but rather to give it a big hug. He’s off to a great start and we know his paw-rents are working hard on training and his two k9 sisters are showing him the ropes. We all fell in love instantly with this sweet boy, but who couldn’t, right?

Starting the week of May 5th, we will now offer late appointments on both Tuesdays and Thursdays. We will be open from 8 a.m-8 p.m. on those days and 8 a.m.-6 p.m on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

We know life can get busy between work, school drop-offs, and everything in between, so we’ve extended our hours to help make vet visits more convenient for you. Our goal is to ensure every pet gets the care they need, on a schedule that works for your family!

Spring is here! And with that comes a warning about Leptospirosis, a disease caused by infection with Leptospira bacteria.

All dogs are at risk of leptospirosis, regardless of age, breed, lifestyle, geographic location, time of year, and other factors. The following situations can increase that risk:

➡Exposure to or drinking from slow-moving or stagnant water sources, like ponds, rivers, lakes, or streams
➡ Roaming on rural properties (because of exposure to potentially infected wildlife or farm animals or urine-contaminated water sources)
➡ Exposure to wild animals (especially rodents) or farm animals, even if in the backyard
➡ Contact with other dogs (such as in urban areas, dog parks, or boarding or training facilities)
