In Nepal, there’s a beautiful festival where dogs are treated like the loyal heroes they are. 🐶✨

Kukur Tihar, part of the five-day Hindu festival of Tihar, is celebrated on the second day to honour dogs for their loyalty, protection, and unconditional love. During the ceremony, dogs—both pets and strays—are lovingly adorned with flower garlands, marked with a red tika blessing on their foreheads, and offered special food as a symbol of respect and gratitude.

A day where every dog is seen, loved, and cherished. ❤️🐾
