I would like to introduce Sophie! She is one of our regular acupuncture patients, and she really loved her spa day today. Sophie suffers from significant arthritis and orthopedic disease. She receives monthly acupuncture to manage her pain and improve her overall mobility. She is the sweetest old girl that loves her treats.

Starting up a new business brings about its own challenges, and it is expected to have some slow months. I am so happy to introduce Mia, our newest patient.
Mia is a young mixed breed pup who tore her cruciate ligament (ACL) a while back. She underwent surgery and has had some complications with healing and severe pain that has continued even 6 weeks post op.
She is currently on pain management and undergoing physical rehab, but still experiencing significant pain when she first attempts to stand up.
She was the perfect candidate for acupuncture, and she really really enjoyed the endorphin rush. She relaxed and fell asleep during treatment. She had a great first response, but the ultimate goal with continued treatment is for her to be pain free and back to walking normally. Stay tuned to watch her healing journey!

It has been alittle quiet since the holidays. Our latest patient of the month, sweet Harper. She is a boxer rescue currently suffering from arthritis and suspected degenerative myelopathy. She received chiropractic care and acupuncture for pain management and mobility support.
Treats are her best friend during her therapy sessions.

We’ve been so busy the last month, between new clients, holiday festivities and the Woof, Wag and Wiggle Event, that we haven’t posted any updates in awhile.
We are so excited to see W***y’s continued determination to walk again. Last week was a PIVOTAL step in his recovery. His mom and Dr. Julie did some amazing research and dived into a new stem cell therapy treatment.
AniCell is a stem cell product that can be safely administered into acupuncture points to help treat certain conditions. We did our very FIRST treatment on W***y last week! We are hoping to see an amazing response and a continued healing journey for our little dachshund friend.

This week’s patient of the week, is Dr. Julie’s own kitty, Fluffy.
She is a 13 year old domestic shorthair, with stable early kidney disease and pancreatitis. She was notably normal last night. Upon waking up this morning, it was apparent something was wrong.
Fluffy’s coordination was all off, she was falling to the right and very wobbly. After a neurologic exam and spinal manipulation, she is tentatively diagnosed with idiopathic vestibular disease. She is being treated with conventional medicine, including a round of antibiotics and steroids. Here in the picture, she is receiving dry needling acupuncture for ataxia and vestibular disease after adjusting her neck.
We hope to see her make a full recovery over the course of 1-4 weeks.
