This sleepy girl just woke up for her 7:00 AM vitals check, and she is sporting some serious bed head.

While our team works around the clock to provide dedicated emergency care, we always make time for morning cuddles and a little hair styling. Sophie Rose is doing well, keeping our spirits high, and rocking her look with total confidence. 🐾💛

Nursing care level: Expert 🐾 ❤️

Little Chowvy recently underwent FHO (Femoral Head Osteotomy) surgery.
He’s doing great, but he made it very clear that “kennel life” was not for him during recovery.

Luckily, our surgery lead, Megan, was on the case.
To keep him calm and comfortable, she crafted a custom “baby” sling so that he could stay right by her side.

He was the perfect little assistant while Megan finished up her administrative work. 💻 ✨

Way to go Megan, for going the extra mile for this sweet boy! 🦴 ❤️

From Low Energy to High Jinks 🐺 ✨

Our friend Blue, a usually “crazy” and high-energy husky, gave his family quite a scare when he suddenly became lethargic and just wasn’t himself. 😔

He saw both our emergency and surgery departments.
After a successful surgery and dedicated care from our medical team, we are so happy to see that his signature husky spirit is back in full force!

Watching this bouncy boy wiggle his way out the door and head home is exactly why we do what we do.

We don’t know who is more excited, Blue or dad!

💛Blondes have more fun!💛

Little Mackerel took that motto a bit too far.

This gorgeous blonde golden retriever puppy paid an unexpected visit to our hospital recently. He decided to have the ultimate fun day by raiding the pantry and eating a massive amount of adult dog food.

Luckily, our resident blonde superstar team, Sam and Gracie, were on shift to handle the situation.
They tag-teamed his care, monitored his epic food coma and made sure his round little puppy belly safely digested the feast.

Mackerel is back to his usual self, but Sam and Gracie have banned him from the pantry!

Meet our resilient little friend, the original Bubble Boy! 🫧 🐾

Tanuki gave us all a scare after a fall in the pool.
He spent a few days in our oxygen kennel- earning his adorable nickname while he took it easy to let his lungs recover.

We are so happy to share that he’s officially back to his normal self!
Watching him stretch those signature corgi legs and head home to his family is why we do what we do.

Meet our latest and cutest “troublemaker.”

Xena decided that her allergy meds looked like a great snack! 💊
Flavored chewable medications are a double edged sword.
While it makes it easier for owners to give meds, if left within reach, dogs often think the entire bottle is a snack. 🍖

When a pup ingests something toxic, charcoal is often our best friend.
It acts like a sponge to trap poisons before they enter the blood stream.

The catch? It’s messy! 🙈

If you’ve visited us over the past two decades, you’ve likely felt the warmth and compassion that Heather brings to every patient she cares for.

Her “Mama Bear” title doesn’t just come from how she protects her patients, but also from the way she looks after our team!
